Whale Sharks of Cancun Mexico 2019 in 4K

Whale Sharks of Cancun is a beautiful 4K video showing the size, grace and gentleness of these ocean giants. The whale shark's size of 30 to 40 feet in length may mislead you to think they are swimming slowly, but they reach speeds up to 3 mph. Our tour guide was EcoColors Tours based in Cancun. They were very attentive to our needs on the boat and to the Whale Sharks in the water as they kept their distance as not to harm these enormous fish.

Where is the best place to see whale sharks without so many people around?

Hi Victoria, there are many places in the world to see whale sharks but when you have a large concentration of these animals you will also have the greater amount of people to view them. Especially when it is so conveniently located near a destination such as Cancun Mexico. Fortunately for the whale sharks, the Mexican government has put in place regulations monitoring the time limit of the adventure operator guides that help to lessen the impact of humans. Here is a list of places around the world you can look up that also have whale shark tours that may not have as many people: Cabo San Lucas, La Paz and Baja California, Mexico. Gladden Spit, Belize. Donsol Bay, Philippines. Ningaloo Reef, Australia. South Ari Atoll, Maldives. Koh Tao, Thailand. Cenderawasih Bay, Indonesia. I hope this answers your question.
