WOW so kind of you , thank you Between you and your friends like str8upgreen,, plus some clubs and balls, I'm shooting 70 ish now. I was 7 under through the first 9 in PGA open tourney but I choked and gave back 3 strokes on the back nine. But if I'd have watched your videos first, I probably would have kept a few of those strokes off and then some!

Keep in mind the calculator is for 12 greens. Will have to make a slight adjustment in power for faster vs slower greens. 👍🏻

Think I might be missing something but the two links appear to have the same information., which may be OK for the 75 and 80 wedges. Do you use a 60 Wedge for bunker relief?

Hey Brian. You aren’t missing anything lol the actual calculator in the top left is for the 60 wedge. If you notice in the 2 links, the numbers to the right are for different lies and each has distances for 60,75/80,100 wedges.

Hey Ross, thanks for your videos, they are a great help. How about a video on fairway bunkers? I never seem to get distance out of them. Any hints?

Typically if it is 30/40 or worse, then there isn’t any way to get out except a PW. I will try to find some spots if I can with lies that are less. Generally the safe play is to put it back in the fairway and go for par. (Or try not to hit it in the bunker 😉) lol

@@Babzilla33 Roger, what I thought. So WGT is not exactly like real golf, those guys get out of fairway bunkers to the green in most cases. And yes, true, stay out of fairway bunkers. I agree. Thanks for help Ross. Love your vids.

Just call me Columbo...just one more thing...I tried using the 75W sheet but saw no input in 'Power'. Entered the 3 other factors but it remains blank. The 80W sheet seems to be working for me. Any ideas ,Babz? Thank you.

As for the first post, depends on the green speed and green shape. If you need more distance than use 2 ft. If it’s fast greens then don’t use any elevation.

you mention a 75 and 80 degree wedge. The highest loft wedge is 64, did you mean 75 and 80 yard wedges? Any advice for a fairway sand lie where it says 2-5 percent? Thanks for taking so much of your time to create a wonderful tool!

Hey buddy. Yes I meant the actual wedges offered, not the specific degree itself. Advice for fairway sand would be to go on a CTTH course that has this particular situation and do some full shot charting. Because each club/ball combo produces a different shot (such as spin and apex) there’s no right or wrong answer except to determine what your combo does for a given club. There may be some people with your setup who already have the numbers which would save you from charting. Hope this helps!

When I am referring to degrees, I’m referring to the actual club yardage itself. They sell clubs as 50y, 60y, 75y, 80y, 100y in the club house. Apologies for the lack of clarity.

Any chance you can link the video explaining this one? Having trouble understanding the main page when it comes to suggested distance

The green side bunkers aren't too difficult normally, but the fairway bunkers are unplayable. Any hints on that?

The fairway bunkers don’t play any different than the green side. Unlike real life, you can’t grab a 4i and rip it 200 yards. Worst case scenario, put the ball in the fairway and save par. Best case scenario, don’t hit it in the bunker lol.

If green speed is slower, simply add more power- say 3-5%. But the idea is to understand how the green slopes so it’ll help facilitate your ball to the hole.

I have a 64 degree wedge that hits 60 yards does it not work with the calculator? Or am I doing something wrong. Also i don’t understand golf terms. You are using a 60 yard wedge in a 75 degree calculator?

Columns D to S are the carry numbers for the 3 wedges in the given lie. At the top of the columns you’ll see 30/40 50/60 and so forth that indicate the bunker depth. Then 3 following columns for 60-80-100 wedge and the corresponding carry numbers.
