Ladies & Gents: We Got Nuneaton 2024! Request: Bath Spa & Woking

Most of us train enthusiasts cannot wait to see the Class 730/2, Class 805 and Class 807 coming into service on the West Coast Main Line this year. I have been to Nuneaton and it’s quite a nice town.

The sound of that class 390 departing 16:19

I love this station. When i go to the uk, i want to record in Cheddington and nuneaton. But for now i am in Spain!

The only good thing about that town is the station, leave it and you will be disappointed. Happy I left last year and great catches!! 👍🏼

AWSOME field day at Nuneaton! Those Class 730’s are very nice, they actually look like the New up coming Piccadilly underground trains due to take over the old 1973 stocks

I’ve got to be honest, I’m a big yellow front fan since it tends to make trains look a lot more ‘friendly’ and bright. I don’t really like the 730s design, it looks a little harsh on the eye, but, I look forward to them taking over from the 350/2s - they are really horrible! Thanks Duaine 👍🏻

Thanks Arnold, it’s always been a great station for variety and this video is no different. Great to catch 86259 as well and even a bunch of brand new trains. Weather could have been better but I mean.. this is England 🤣

It is served by three railway lines: the Trent Valley section of the West Coast Main Line (WCML), the Birmingham-Leicester-Peterborough line and the Coventry to Nuneaton branch line. Suggestion: West Hampstead: 3 stations all right next to each other: Tube station has Metropolitan and Jubilee stock aswell as Chiltern Railways passing the station, Overground station has plenty of 378s and Freight, and the Thameslink station has 700s as well as EMR 360s and 222s.

Anyone notice that one of the Avanti voyager's destination board said "chitty chitty bang bang"?

@finnandbobo It’s coming from Old Oak Depot in London so it will run through Platform 1, then reverse on the bridge and then run through Platform 7 towards Leicester. Hope this helps. It will be 37800 on its own. Have fun.

I hold my videos so that I can both edit them and make sure that I put them out next videos from different regions. If all I put out was the videos I’d filmed yesterday, then that also wouldn’t give much future stability. This method allows me to have confidence that I can not film for several weeks but there will still be videos for you guys. I also believe that the date doesn’t matter, if you went to Nuneaton tomorrow you would see 80% of what I saw in January. Thanks for your understanding 😃

What camera do you use

You should try out Northallerton if you haven’t already, it’s quite far up north but trains come through at 125mph

I use Cyberlink PowerDirector for editing and I create my train information using Adobe After Effects. Hope this helps.

LNWR ones are replacing some 350s i believe the 350/2s and the WMR ones are replacing all class 323s

I find it such a shame that Avanti's new 805s and 807s will not tilt. I dont think they'll live up to the voyagers as I'd rather take a 221 over a 80X.
