Hale needed Caleb as a bait, she was done with the fidelity test. Maybe 23 years ago Caleb didn't really died, she managed to save him but kept him "on the ice" like William. Human William didn't aged in 23 years, the device he is in seems to preserve his body at low temperature. Kind of like the main character in Fallout 4 in the beginning if you played it. Maybe there's a chance that Caleb is actually the real one, but he just doesn't know? Maeve would have been able to tell, but she wasn't there. I know we've seen Caleb # 279 being build at the end of episode 6, but maybe it was just to mislead us and blow our mind in the final episode.

I thought that too esp when Hale said “look at you in your human form” I thought that was a weird thing to say bc they always been in a “human form” really… so I’m up in the air with that too
Maeve, Bernard, and the real William. All my faves from S1 died in one episode. Dang.

kind of surprised you didn't mention the plan Hale had for "evolving" and those super interesting new robotic bodies she is transferring the host's pearls to. I'm hoping we get to see more of those in the final episode!

Are those new robotic body really bodies. They don't seem functional or protective. I thought they were more like platforms to upload the hosts to a virtual world.

Yea those things looked creepy/cool! I wonder what that's about?
in my theory, I think that Christina is being prepped by the Sublime to be sent to the real world to save it. Though I am unclear about the timeframe she is in 0__0
Well explained
Thanks. I found the last episode very confusing.
"Teddy" is doing a fidelity test of Christina in the simulation. Meaning that someone, Halores, must have put him there. He is either a recreation by Halores, or he has been retrieved from the forge by Bernard as part of his plan of recreating Dolores. There was a chestnut in the Hoover Dam. Given that the simulation runs faster than the real-world this might happen in just a short while.
Yes, wasn't there a shot of an old fashioned Host skeleton behind a hidden door that the drone opens- so perhaps an awakened Dolores could be downloaded to her original body and sent to fight Host William at the dam to protect the Sublime? And the man behind Teddy's resurrection... Host Ford.
To me a lot of dialogue this season seems a bit elementary, is that because certain timelines are in simulations? Or has the direction been hit or miss this season?
teddy tells her that "this is real, but you are not" therefore it's cant be a simulation. A simulation also isn't real and it takes place in a virtual world.(example: the sublime). So it has to be something else. Propably something to do with the transended world that Hale created. On top of that, Hale is aware and has to do something with the creation of Christina. Teddy is there for another reason, but not from Hale.
I think that "if you choose to give her the choice" is about asking Maeve if she will still fight the apparently hopeless battle. All of these characters are aspects of Dolores. so maybe this is what happens when she is connected to the predictive AI, and it is deciding whether they are worthy of saving or not. 🤷♀
you upload these videos so fast that even if I dont click to see it, the previous images shown are major spoilers on an episode Im going to watch today. Loving your channel, but until then, farewell.

Yes, I think it’s coming down to a final showdown between the heroine (Delores) and her worst oppressor, William ( i.e., between the original love object, and he who was spurned). It broke his heart, I think, when he sees another suitor pick up the can she dropped (I think it was Teddy). I think he felt a fool for “loving a robot”, that and his broken heart, twisted him, and started his ascendancy to “the man in black”. After that, he repeatedly abuses his former love interest out of vengeance. What a perfect ending it would be, to bring them together a final time and have her totally kick his ass!

This actually sounds like the most plausible. I like it
I think there are 3 worlds.. The simulation, The sublime, and the real world.... The simulation and the real world are mirrors of each other using the same prediction technology we saw from season 3... I believe the real world and the simulation are going to end (per Bernard) but some hosts and some humans will transition into the sublime (we can save a small part of it) .. this is why when Bernard was caught trying to gather data on Frankie he said "it's not what you think" . he wants to save her essence/copy to send to the sublime later.
Many seasons of this look like the experiment of hosts and humanity can survive together that the reason Dolores keep Bernard and many copies of herself in many hosts to do good and bad actions to reach the best possibilities and I think the season 5 may be the story line is integrated the best of 2 kinds to make a better world but the side effects that it creates the worst of 2 kinds to bring down the world
Bernard planted a Chekhov’s gun.
But if Christina was not real how did she interact with people in the real world? Her roommate, boss, the homeless guy, her date? Even the guy (Peter) that committed suicide, sought her out to speak to her before jumping. Also for example, the scene with her boss was questioning her she then told him to go home and he responded by doing so. Me and coworkers are wondering.
"It's a godawful said affair...."
Maeve's death was a bit contrived. If she left Charlotte alone, I feel like she wouldn't have died so soon.
Why does Caleb's host body (a copy of a real person) keep breaking down, but host MiB (also a copy of a real person) does not break down?
@trashman8080
Жыл бұрын
host mib is more like bernard, a recreation with its own spin rather than a copy.
@marna_li
Жыл бұрын
@@trashman8080 It is not explained why they break down, but "developed" minds don't work for long on host "brain" hardware. Meaning that the recreation process of a human is not perfect. It is easier to assign a human personality profile on top of a host, but that is not what Williams attempted to do with Delos. He wanted the real deal with "free will" and all.
@DavidBrackett385

I’d like to know as well. I’m thinking because there’s a difference in copying a consciousness and transferring it. I think Heloris did the same process as Delos tried over and over to do. But I’m not completely sure. Maybe Haloris designed him that way because he was a bad ass and she didn’t want him to be a threat.

I asked that last week. Did she make Host Caleb “flawed” to create urgency to observe his goal to find Frankie? I know that’s a pretty weak explanation

A simulation based on a the real world isn't real... The opening scene with Bernard and Maeve in the Sublime is also a simulation, it's not real.

Why I think something much bigger is going on...why don't they ever show other cities in the world like Japan, Europe etc etc as far as being controlled by Hale it seems like it's only in one city not worldwide....I could just be over thinking it

I did not like this episode!!! Least favorite of this season. I don’t think Christine is in sublime because of I Ter action with hale and her “writing narratives” … still asking why was she “created” for narratives in first place…
The way the narrator talks is so extra. It’s obnoxious.
