I hate fireworks in the neighborhood

I do too. There are enough professional fireworks to accommodate anyone who wants to celebrate the holidays. Every year homes burn, adults & children are permanently injured & disfigured by fireworks not to mention how many are killed. Fireworks remain legal & dangerous because of the money 💵 they generate. Human & environmental damage is allowed to happen has a monetary price for the greedy.

Fireworks are so overrated. 8 years ago I had a fire and lost everything. It’s very traumatizing. It takes time to heal. May God bless you ❤

I moved away from Denver a couple months ago and had the first respectful Fourth of July in my life instead of fireworks going off for more than a month around the 4th of July I just heard a few on the actual day it is so wonderful to be in a place where laws are actually followed

What a shame and the fruit loop out on bail. Should have been forced to stay away from residence.

I visited my elderly single girlfriend yesterday morning and she told me that on July 5th, on the front entry patio of her townhouse [which is on the north side of the Cottonwood Creek from the park on the south side], there was very large empty rocket that had landed on her front patio!!! It was close to her front entry windows!!! AND the fireworks going off late into the night was extremely LOUD!!! What ARE the regulations for fireworks in neighboring residential areas…and with seniors??? Thank YOU for your report on this subject!!! Much appreciated!

It's nothing new that Colorado releases criminals it makes you wonder what does it take for a criminal to go to prison I almost got killed by someone add several charges into protection orders and they let him get away with it time to find out he had a history of violence when I did a background check on him nothing showed up because Colorado kept releasing him

And since it's in Colorado, there's a 90 % the charges get dropped and the judge kisses his feet along with an apology letter for wasting his time

My GF had a 4th of July party. Upon leaving, many of her neighbors were shooting off illegal fireworks in the streets. This area is just several blocks from the city hall/police department. New meaning of "police are just minutes away".

Going to have to take them to court.

And as a reminder, it is illegal everywhere in Denver to ignite fireworks, so why he had them in the first place is beyond me.

West Michigan #NavyVeteranKorea n retired county law enforcement officer. I was ANGRY when Michigan legalized personal fireworks . We get more n more disasters every yr. In Ottawa, Kent,Allegan, Muskegon counties. All over Michigan. I want our law on this reversed. But it wont happen. My sympathies to this couple.

There should be an ordinance regarding fireworks. No one should set them off in close proximity to another house.

I find the lack of enforcement when they are shooting illegal rockets like they do in my neighborhood, over the roofs of their neighbors homes! Over the beach is just a short walk and yet they still put their neighbors at risk of something just like this. 🤷🏼‍♀️
