Another nicely done review. Diversions are also great for long flights (oh such a long time ago...) because of the stretch.

I was thinking these would be great travel and everyday pants for colder months and that the outlier futuredarts I have are great for warmer weather. I was excited to see you review these. Thanks

I realized the diversion pants would be more tapered and stretchy than the outlier slim dungarees while costing less money so that's why I figured Western rise division + outlier Futuredarts make a great pair to handle any occasion. Your review seems to agree with what I was thinking

Thank you for watching and that’s definitely a combination of pants for warmer and colder weather! So far I prefer these over the SDs but the future darts have been better in the heat!

Is the waistband stretchy?

I have the Evolution pant and am planning to order more, but at what temps would you say the Diversion shouldn’t be worn? I’m from New England but will be spending the winter in Arizona and Southern California so I’m trying to decide if the diversion is too warm for weather in the 70’s and 80’s. I wish the diversion stretch came in the evolution weight if that makes sense, but they don’t. I have to choose. I just don’t want to order a couple pairs of Diversion pants now ( still in New England, moving next month) to find out they’re too warm to wear past a certain temperature. Thanks.

Thank you for watching and good question! Speaking for weight and temperature only I think the evolution pants would be better in the 70s and 80s. I think the diversion pants would still be wearable and they won’t feel as hot as jeans. For me however, the fit on the diversion pants is spot on so I would take those over the evolution pants even tho they are slightly warmer. Is that color the "flat black" or blue gray? It seems to vary a lot with different lighting

Thank you for watching! This is probably closer to the flat black (i feel like when i got these they had an obsidian or charcoal color, but i don't see that on the site now)

Are they overly noisy? Which pants are better Bluffworks Acender Chino or Western Rise Diversion?

Thank you for watching and good questions! I haven’t noticed noise with the diversion pants but a little bit of noise with the ascender chinos. Both are solid options and the ascender chinos will be better if you want additional pocketing and if you don’t like super slim pants but overall I prefer the aesthetic, fabric and comfort of the diversion pants

Thank you for watching! They don’t roll up quite as tightly as the evolution pants but they still don’t take up a ton of space in your bag
