This is good u guard Luka...close the air space and don't make it comfortable for him to do what he wants. Make him use attributes that he's not equipped with to beat u, speed. Crowd him and make him play faster and keep a hand in his line of sight and he will struggle...even bump him and get under his skin. Russ had the right formula and he and Bron can most definitely frustrate Luka enough to beat Dallas. Problem is these days ppl want to play cute

The game was more physical and more defensively focused. And Rodman was bigger. Luka is like 6'7" being guarded primarily by a bunch of smaller guards. And NOONE plays start to finish defense anymore. Not even for a quarter

All the players should have been playing him like this. When Cuban made the comment about Euro players (mainly white) are better than American players (mainly black) all of those black American players should have played their best defense on Luka as soon as he got in the league and tried to destroy his confidence. An example would be when Jerry Krause threw shade at MJ making comments about Kukoc with insinuations he would make Kukoc the grace of the Bulls and that he was better than MJ and Pip. They played Kukoc so tough Kukoc didn’t even want to come to America. Too many players in the NBA aren’t from the concrete frfr. These middle class and upper class players are too conditioned and pampered. We need some cats who are literally playing for what the game used to be about respect and competitiveness. Stop it. Luka always adjusts. In Euroleague he was MVP and the defense there is a lot tougher than in NBA. Sure NBA is soft, but Luka would be great in any time period, because he has that MJ, Kobe competitive mindset.
