So sad. One of the finest piers in the country, gone to wrack and ruin. I fished from the landing stage in the 1960s. Really, really sad...

I was a child in the 1950's. It looked better then than it does now. A little grubby perhaps but intact.

Jackie your lucky u got to go on there just before it closed :) wish I could of gone on, but hey! I’m only 13 so it’s been gone longer than I’ve been alive so that’s sad :( wish they would rebuild it!
