And how do you figure that the Russians are going to get there ?? There are two large European rivers to cross on the way to Odessa & Russia no longer controls the Black Sea area opposite the Odessa coast... I noticed our vatniks often bleat about Odessa, but when asked how Russia would get "boots on the ground" there the original posters of such have no answer or clue...Its almost comical. Plus you figure the locals are going to be happy to have the Russians there after being bombed by them for 2+ years??

It's so terribly shameful how the west, especially Europe, has turned on Russia in such a vile despicable way, after the tremendous contributions and sacrifices Russia made in WW2 to defeat Hitler's Germany. Setting aside the differences and intrigue of the cold war era and leaving that behind us all, Russia has done much to be a productive friendly partner to the modern world, not the least of which being their long-dedicated support and participation in the International Space Station. without the dear Soyuz, ISS would have been nearly helpless for many years.

It’s funny and again I’m an American vet and an article just came out published by someone who’s Ukraine saying Russia has a gas shortage. I was like can the media lie anymore in the west? A gas shortage? If this was true the stock for oil wouldn’t be plummeting and Russia would finally say enough is enough and make Ukraine a parking lot. I’m also positive Russia has refineries way east far away from the border. Sick of it.

Ukrainian rightwing nationalism has a horrific history; as the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) was founded in fall 1942, under German occupation, thousands who joined were former Ukrainian police, organized and controlled by the German Army, from 1941-1944. These UPA Ukrainian nationalists greatly ‘assisted’ the German occupation forces, and many who joined UPA were former Ukrainian occupation police, directly supporting the German Army, and ‘assisted’ the Germans, as they rounded-up, thousands of Jews, to be killed, by shooting, in the Ukrainian countryside. During the summer of 1943, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) murdered an estimated 80,000 to 100,000 Polish peasants in Western Ukraine. Following the end of World War II, the UPA fought against the Red Army, in the forests of Western Ukraine. The Ukrainian Insurgent Army continued fighting, as postwar killings produced over 30,676 victims, including Red Army soldiers; including an estimated one half Ukrainian peasants and collective farm workers, local Ukrainians. The goal of UPA was to create an ‘ethnically pure’ Ukrainian land, without any Poles, Jews and especially any Russians; as the Ukrainian nationalist’s insurrection did not end, until 1953. The UPA is currently ‘honored’ in Ukraine; all monuments to Red Army soldiers fighting against German Army has been destroyed. Let this be a warning to everyone; no to right wing Ukrainian nationalist ideology; no to racism, in any form.

Er!! Tis easy!! Ask yourself how did you get the name you and others know you as?? You got told from a very young age that's your name, and you've never questioned any aspect of it whether you like the name or not!! Tis same with many Westerners in terms of the nations from which they inhabit!! They are fed a particular narrative about them as Westerners Viz a Viz other nations, people's, cultures, whatever have you!! They close their minds to any information that does not tally with the first information they were given!! What I find most distasteful about some of the comments, is those people who will take up the mud about Alexander and issues in his past whatever they may have been!! To those people I'd remind them of the old adage; " he that is without sin let them cast the first stone!! Any criticism of his report, such dissenters should present fact, erudite argument rather than " muckraking"!! To descend to that level merely proves they are less than intelligent, and that's the crux of the matter with these people!!

It’s OFFICIALLY a NATO VS RUSSIA War NATO's involvement in Ukraine not only exacerbates the conflict but also dangerously skirts the edges of a broader war. The consensus within the US National Security establishment suggests that Ukraine is on the brink of losing the war against Russia, with potential for the complete collapse of its military. Despite this grim outlook, NATO's strategy remains bafflingly counterproductive. - TFIGlobal

The Russians developed their missiles with speed as #1 priority. The Americans developed missiles for precision/ accuracy. The Americans felt precision / accuracy was more important to them because they have to ship weapons to a battlefield. They wanted missile accuracy in hitting a target and ship less missiles. The Russians valued speed. Because their battlefield is typically in their own hemisphere. Either is valuable!

May 1, 2024 - The Challenger 3 has been unveiled as the UK’s newest and most “lethal” main battle tank (MBT); - The Challenger 3 is produced by modernizing existing Challenger 2 MBTs with 127 planned for conversion from the UK’s existing 221 Challenger 2s; - The refurbishment/modernization of 127 tanks will cost $990 million or approximately $7.8 million per tank, several times more than modernized Russian tanks, and even more expensive or as expensive as new Russian tanks; - The Challenger 3 will weigh more than its predecessor, and both tanks are heavier than their Russian T-72B3, T-90M, T-80BVM, and even T-14 counterparts; - 127 MBTs in total will mean that most likely fewer than 100 tanks will be operational at any given time making it impractical for the UK to project military power abroad in any significant manner; - The Challenger 3 features a 120mm smoothbore gun that will use NATO standard tank rounds which is an improvement over the Challenger 2’s rifled gun which required unique ammunition incompatible with other NATO tanks; - The Challenger 3 is another illustration of Western military industrial production, emphasizing expensive, complex weapons built in small numbers to maximize profits versus equally capable, but cheaper and more numerous Russian or Chinese weapons designed to maximize both battlefield and strategic effectiveness; - While a Challenger 3 may or may not be capable one-on-one with a Russian MBT, the fact that Russia has many more tanks and is able to replace damaged or lost tanks faster than the Challenger 3 and other Western MBTs proves a disadvantage to the UK and the rest of NATO; - The New Atlas

I suspect we'll see smaller Drone Tanks in the Future, guided by AI with Air Drone support, and possibly carrying Lasers along with Artillery Shells.. Think the of the conversion from Dreadnaughts in WW1 to Air Craft Carriers in WW2. Navies have adapted to deal with air attacks, I see no reason why Armies can't do so as well. The British have fallen into the same trap as the Germans did in WW2.
