@@zest2.5 Love is blind. Her growth hasn't been astonishing, she spent most of last season injured and hardly played. Hayes has already said James needs to be managed carefully, as her fitness is still lacking, as is the defensive side of her game, which is obvious in every game she plays, including this one.

@@andrewprevost the women deserve her! But in general, I don’t understand why women don’t manage the men’s game? It’s not like it’s something where men have a natural advantage, many female managers can clearly be excellent tacticians and have the experience and knowledge to do well in the men’s game. But they probably won’t get the chance due to sexism (from fans mostly, I can see it becoming toxic very quick).
I am a Chelsea fan for 55 years, watching this make me so happy and proud of my team. These ladies are so good.
Lauren is a proper 10, both footed and very effortlessly technical

James is such a delight to watch with the ball at her feet and one of the best in the women's game at the moment. Great to see that through ball from her for Fran Kirby's goal , Kirby is the one that normally supplies the killer pass for the others. What with Kerr's predatory goal scoring instincts , Kirby's play making and James's ball skills the front end of this team is scary. This team when on top form makes football worth watching , more so than the men's of late. There is so much talent across several teams now that apart from giving Weigman a selection headache our chances of a women's world cup win looks more and more likely. I played for several teams when younger as most boys did and followed football as my chosen sport ever since but this Chelsea women's side is the one I look forward to watching the most.
Sam Kerr is the best striker that this club has ever had. What a player! And they considered this to be her "off" season

I remember like a month ago the people on the London is Blue pod were debating whether she’d make it to 20 goals this season. She’s at 20 now - at the start of February.

10/10 performance and happy to see a clean sheet defence wise. Hope Super Fran isn't badly injured and recovers well.

@@BWart-zp5hy Dont include Fofana in that group or Kovacic. I know he has been injured but hes a good player with a bright future, quick and sharp at tackles. The rest i agree need to go, especially Ziyech. Gallagher needs to be in that list as well. Also based on the new signings we are making , we should be back on top again in no time.

@@BWart-zp5hy How does he hinder us? Just dont make a statement without giving examples. Hes one of the best midfielders and dribblers in the world when he is fit and hes still only 28. Gallagher is not good enough to start for Chelsea. Our new 18 year old signing Andrey Santos is better than his 23 year old ass. There's a difference between playing for a club like Crystal Palace and a Big Club like Chelsea. Mount is in that boat also, but i dont think he should be sold, he should just be a squad player not a starter.

@@oluwatoyinkushalu1999 they do, and so would the men's team if they played vs west ham ladies. I don't think it's right to compare if the competition is so vastly different. Men's team - just like the women's team - has some great players. It's not clicking at the moment but most of them brought you a champions league trophy back home not too long ago

@@goldboy150 sorry, you misunderstand what I was getting at. I wouldn't watch and follow the women's team if I didn't think they were doing great things. But all of these comparasons are doing neither team justice. We all know what the result would be if the women played against the fulham men or the chelsea men played against the west ham ladies. What's the point in pinning both teams against each other? The women are flying and doing great things and the men, who won a CL not too long ago btw, are just not clicking atm but are still a set of great players. Chelsea has two great senior teams that should make a fanbase proud of their achievements in the last decade.
