Agree. And i'll say this for the East End, most (not all) have always had a good heart and open to different cultures. My parents, bro and sis grew up in East Ham in the 60's, loved it and even the Kray brothers were known for their kindness to those in need, despite being raving lunatics.

@@TRoss4566 Agree with you. Areas built around the docks have always been diverse and tolerant to the many different cultures having graced out shores.
As an adult, you don't have the choice to do ramadan. You have to do it. 1. If you are sick, you are permitted to eat and drink. 2 If you are travelling a long distance, you have the choice to fast or to eat but after ramadan you have to fast the days you missed. It is sample as that.
