If you’d move on a midfielder that contributed as many goals as he does, let alone takes good set pieces, then thank God you’re not the manager.

To bring these players ,we have to move players on especially with no Europe this season?If we’re to get Europe next season we have to improve our squad too. Question to Frankie and Sloth who do we sell and how many and who comes in that are realistic and in our budget? The knowledge and info you give is brilliant and helpful ⚒👍🏻

There’s a long list that could be sold! I would say the following off the top of my head could be sold: - Zouma - Aguerd - Downes - Cornet - Ings Those are the main ones! We still need another 6-7 solid signings (LW, CM, ST, CB, RB at a minimum). Also, thank you! Appreciate it 👊 - Frankie

Sounds good. Loving the defensive attributes but would like someone that has the same kind of vision as LP10 for finding that pass. That might be him, but I haven't seen him

Frendrup is a solid player, defensively very good! I would still want a difffent type of 8 to play alongside LP10, but Frendrup would definitely come in and improve the squad! - Frankie

£35m 😳sounds more like a lazy overpaid Moyes signing than a Steidten pearl diving one whilst the fans want Fofana if he is willing to join us

Also, re the suggested €35m does that sound about right with only 1yr left on his contract? As you say Kone & Fofana (+ Thuram recently) arguably better and cheaper?

I think we need to build the foundations. It looks like Lopetegui is looking to get the core transfers made early (hence Kilman). Our defence was atrocious last season; definitely an area that needs addressing! - Frankie

@@BabblingIrons I do get what you are saying. It's tough to say what goes where (as in where money is allocated in the squad) as noone is sure of the budget, who will be found new club etc. My concern is (bar Guilherme) we haven't actually brought anyone in who can contribute to those front 4 positions (CAM, RW, LW, ST) since seeing the departures of Scamacca, Fornals, and Benhrama and now possibly even Paqueta. If you consider Guilherme a replacement for one of them, it still means we are down 3 attacking profiles since this time last year. I do agree that there is a gap in the squad in terms of defensive midfield but not as much as the attacking spots. I see Kudus, Bowen and Antonio as genuine options and am hopeful about Guilherme. That is pretty much the bare bones.
