Believe it or not, he also raps in Kazakh language. He is actually living in LA and working with Walter Afanasieff and David Foster. We don’t know what projects he is working on with these great composer, but we will see it soon. You can’t count how many views a song has because he has many versions of the same song. His repertoire is very large and sings in 15 languages. Dimash is also a composer and plays several instruments. He has fans (Dears) from every continent and many attend his concerts as far as Malaysia. Thank you for your reaction. Take care. ❤️🙏☮️

So many people have said the same thing about Dimash, that sings like several people at once. It's only one Dimash. He began his music studies at the age of five and has never been deterred from his path. He is dedicated to his craft and still does vocal training for 3-5 hrs. a day every day. I am anxious for you to react to Dimash singing Hello, Olympico, Ave Maria, Ikanaide. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, watch Dimash sing All By Myself, Adagio, The Show Must Go On, and Unforgettable Day, all from his appearance on "The Singer 2017", when he first caught worldwide attention, and he was only 22 yrs. old. He sang songs in French, Russian, English, and Mandarin, but only spoke Russian and his native tongue, Kazakh. He now sings in 14 different languages. Mr. Pegasus, I think I enjoy watching you react to your guest almost as much as you like watching their reactions. Thank you for the Dimash video reactions. Waiting for more.

You’re right about his range - there’s nobody that has ever been able to sing like this, except one artist from the 1950s and 60s. She was from Peru and her name is Yma Sumac. She grew up on the outskirts of the Amazon jungle and trained her voice based on the bird trills and the growls of animals. She had a range of about 8 to 9 octaves and you couldn’t always hear all of it in one recording, but you can find her range over several of them. People would say that her range was five octaves, but for sure, I know it was eight or nine, because back in the 50s when I was very little, my family bought an album of hers and I was reading all the back notes which said she had 8 to 9 octaves. So many times I’ve seen Spanish- speaking people calling Dimash the male Yma Sumac. These are the only two singers really, in recorded history that have such a range. There is another - opera singer named Ewa Podles, who also had that range - she could sing everything from baritone to coloratura. So yes, you were were listening to a singer with a matchless range, talent, timber and vocal elasticity. We are fortunate to be living in the era of Dimash. It is no point comparing him to anybody else.

The best version of SOS is the one at the Slavic Bazaar. BTW, he's huge in Asia. His first album went double platinum in Asia in 39 seconds. Last I checked, Asia has a lot more people than the English Speaking world. Here is a dope song he sings in English that was the soundtrack to a SciFi movie in 2020: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dGF1tcp9pZqyZqQ.html

I agree with you about the Slavic Bazaar performance. However, it is great, because his purest and best one yet is the one we saw on the singer. That performance was matchless and its purity of tone, inflection of voice, and placement of notes. Even up to the very last one where he re-open the vocal cords instead of just shutting it down and ended it so matchlessly on that note. Slavic bazaar is closest to that and yes I agree. It is one of the two best performances of SOS by Dimash.

Well-informed and insightful commentary from Juz J! One of the big reasons Dimash isn't famous in the West is because not a single person on his team speaks English or understands Western culture. He very recently moved to L.A. from his home in Kazakhstan, and he's rapidly learning English. The man is studying for his Doctorate degree and is highly intelligent. In time, with cultural immersion, I hope he will learn how to leverage Western-based social media, just as Ren is doing. In the meantime, as a youtube reactor, be prepared for lots of copyright blocks when you react to Dimash's videos (his Kazakh team doesn't understand why that's a horrible strategy). I hope you'll be patient, he's so worth it. Also, as you've come to know Ren on this channel, Dimash is a delightful human being filled with humility, values, and empathy.

@@ericdotd69 But it's exactly what Dimash is thinking about. It's why he moved to L.A., is working with American composers, producers, and an American vocal coach. This one has 13mil - but Dimash has lots of versions out there, and they all have big numbers. It's considered one of the six most difficult songs in the French repertoire... and he's been performing it professionally since he was 19. His voice has changed a lot, but from about 22 on it's all been crazy good. As for the performance at 19 - it was good - but the miracle was that he could do it at all.

This song is a pearl of the French songbook: It is a French-Canadian cyberpunk-rock opera called “Starmania”, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Gregory Lemarchal. The theme of the song is depression: In the 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the afflicted character: From the chest voice to the head voice and then to falsetto, the author sought to show a broad need to overcome a moment of despair and the pretense of accepting to reach a higher perspective! Dimash, currently at his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who have departed this world! Great reaction! 🌹❤️🙌I have some suggestions. “ Sinful Passion”, “ Opera 2”, “ Stranger”, “ Adagio” ( the one with Dimash in turquoise blue suit), “ Life Is Like A Dream”, “ Wat And Peace”, “ The Earth Song with Bosun Ma”, “ A James Bond type of theme song called “ Across Endless Dimensions”, “ Your Love”, “ The Love Of Tired Swans”- performed in Moscow in front of all the Generals, “ Ikanaide” performed for the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Fest, “ Olympico Ogni Pietra” a spectacular performance to witness, a very unusual a performance where you’ll hear inhuman notes called “ Drunken Concubine with Li”, “ Confessa And Diva Dance” from the Chinese Show called “ The Singer”, Do you want to see Dimash rap? Do martial arts? Then watch the video ( not stage performer) of “ Be With Me”, Do you want to see Dimash in a cream suit with fedora paying tribute to MJ? Watch “ Fly Away.” 😎Do you want to see a SCORCHING SMOKING performance of a song Dimash composed that is a real homage to MJ with dancing and more? Then ONLY watch the 2021 Digital Show version of “ Give Me Your Love.” A masterwork 3 years in the making is the stunning video called “ The Story Of One Sky”…. I’ve seen countless big strong men have tears and clutching their hearts- wordless , while reacting to this masterpiece. Spanish Dears asked Dimash to compose a song for them; so he did, in under a month. You won’t believe your EYES!!😎Its called “ El Amor En Ti.” There’s much more- but there you go! Thank you and God Bless! 🌹🌹🌹🌟🌟🌟❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥💗💗💗🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🌠🌠🌠🌹❤️😎

Thanks for this reaction. Listen to Dimash’s D8 whistle note on song he wrote, unforgettable day, GOKKU, listen to him Rap on Be with me, Screaming, live, and I am Kazakh rap. The version of SOS you watched is part of the Dimash Digital show that was shown during the pandemic, after his ARNAU world tour was cut short. There is a playlist on his official KZread channel with all the performances. It was a charity event for project c.u.re. Which gave medical supplies during the pandemic.

Lol I love watching you introduce other people to Damash. It’s fun isn’t it? May I suggest that you try some of the other versions of SOS the next time you introduce someone? Each one has its own best moments. Personally I really like the Singer one and the one about a year later… shoot I’m forgetting the name of the venue… anyway it would be nice to see your response to the other versions while introducing him to your friends. Also there’s a couple performances where he hits an insanely high whistle tone that is just mind blowing. I’m also looking forward to seeing you branch out and react to more of his songs. This is so fun.

I think the other one you're thinking of is from the Slavic Bazaar. If not, that's a good one, too. Lol There is a little more pep in his step when he is performing in front of an audience. The vibe is cranked up another level. Still sooo very happy he put out the digital show (which is also phenomenal) when live events were canceled.

Thank you for sharing Dimash with your friends and followers! Our Prince of World Peace;) I enjoyed watching your expression as you reacted to this song again. Each time I listen to any Dimash performance, I hear it on a deeper level- and enjoy it more. I am not sure if you know that this Digital show was made during Covid as an online performance for Dimash’s fans. On the release day, the cost was minimal- I heard $10 or $20, but I did not have the opportunity to watch. Afterwords, the Digital show was released for free. This particular version of SOS has a backstory, as all of Dimash’s songs do. Dimash’s friend from childhood, Denis Ten, was a Kazak Olympic figure skater. Mr. Ten was killed by thugs during a robbery of car parts. You can see, hear, and feel Dimash’s sorrow and grief at the death of his friend. Need some sizzling hot fun? React to Dimash’s music video Be With Me! 🔥
