Benson's "He was so good looking, he had two first names," is severely underrated
the person who made the thumbnail needs a raise.
Benson is so cute 😍
Hey guys, regardless of whether you guys were popular or not in high school, you guys are certainly popular now!!!

And even in your case, though it's the toughest case I've yet to face, don't worry, I'm determined to succeed... Follow my lead, and yes, indeed... You... Will...BE....
Chris & Benson were wild kids in college. LOL.
I'm a teenager, and although this might just be true for my school (and for junior/senior years since everyone's mellowed out and matured)... I think that on the whole 'popularity' is changing somewhat, or at least the textbook definition of popularity just doesn't mesh with real life. The popularity we see in movies or books also tends to be in a very Western context. For my school, we do have stereotypically 'popular' kids but they tend to be seen as popular only within their circles, and lots of the rest just find some of their antics tiring or attention seeking. The ones who are truly 'popular' with the cohort as a whole are the nice people - the leaders, the smart people, the passionate artists (but then again I attend an arts school). There's also more of a culture of respecting people who are comfortable doing their own thing, whether that's dancing or making cool stuff or they run cool projects. And to me, that's a change for the better.

I agree. In my school, the popular kids weren't actually mean, they were genuinely nice people.

The school I go to definitely has popular kids. It’s always the girls who dress in super short skirts and crop tops and the guys that vape and are “cool” but the weird thing is that they’re usually the people who are in cheer but also band or green team and the football team. A lot of the time they aren’t just idiots and sluts. They have actual interests other than being popular
Lunch Break is the only thing I have to look forward to on Thursdays and after 11 minutes and 25 seconds, I feel empty all over again.
Phil's pun game in this one is strong. That yin-yang pun!

Anthony Subandi yesss! All of Phil's asian puns were cracking me up 😂
Ashley: I had *zero* friends my first year, so I just stayed in my room and watched Netflix. Phil: yoU HAd NetFLicks in CoLlegE?!?!?!?!?!
Benson: "the Chinese kids were like the international students" Everyone: "ooooooooooh" *Drops the subject*
Hey Phil! Went to your HS a few years after you(I think i was exactly 4 years younger so you had graduated by the time I was a freshman) and Chinatown turned into Koreatown hahaha ^__^;;

At my high school, most people are pretty kind to each other and they look out for others who are struggling and they stand up for people who are in need. I love my school because of that and I feel really lucky to go here. 🙂
Ashley is always slaying !! I love you guys so much 💓
I was a prefect in elementary, loner to average in middle school, student council in high school, and then independent in college. My cohort in college was very immature, gossipy, and competitive whereas in high school, people were nice and collaborative. It's all over the place. 🤷♀️😁 Maybe it just depends on the school. I was soooo glad to be done with school! My work life was tons better. People from my college tried to be my friend to use my work connections because of where I ended up in adult life. 🤦🤷♀️ Of course, that didn't go anywhere. 😂
could someone make a montage of all the noises that Ashley made, that would be hilarious love this show, and love your channels

I honestly don't see Ashley as not being popular. She would've been popular in my high school.
I'm at Ashley's situation right now. First year in college(at a different country) with no friends at all and watching netflix all day. Lunch break really helps me feel less lonely though!
Who can relate? I was a Jock, played a bunch of sports, volunteered, was part of boys senior powderpuff dance team, partied a lot in Junior and senior year, and was an all time graduating class favorite:)
Been waiting for this the whole thursday
My school is 95% asian, 5% other. Not even lying. The teachers call it Chinatown sometimes. At the moment Im in this enrichment program so I always hang out with the enriched kids. I play volleyball and a bit of ice hockey so i made some friends hanging out with people with common interests.

bensonq Check that off the bucket list. Hi Benson!
Being a floater is pretty cool. The only thing that sucked was that no one considers you part of their group. I considered myself to be part of many groups who I would hang out with occasionally each, but to the group I was probably just a stranger. By the end of high school, I was the kid that everyone knew but no one really cared for.
Anybody spot Christine's water bottle in the very beginning and after that, it's gone? Lol.

This editing is hilarious i’m actually crying 😂😂
Phil cracks me up😂😂 Loved it when he was going on about the good looking guy. It's true and it follows everywhere there is always the guy where even his name sounds good looking. I also loved it when Chris kept on trying to convince him that Netflix was around and Phil had to keep on saying no😂
I'd have to say the popular kid at my college is the one that stands out for what they do like "bike boy" or "segway guy" or "the guy who doesn't wear shoes"... I was none of these people but I admire them greatly

Can totally agree with Ashley about high school! I never really thought there were any popular kids, everyone around school was pretty well known together.
Ashley must have been real popular!
Phil saying "no not even that yet" to Netflix DVD mailers. The way he said that. So my life.
You guys are so cool!! Ahaha
Dis is so good😍😍😍😍
Phil!! I saw a commercial with you in it!! I don't remember what it was advertising but you were in it!!
"Blockbuster and chill"... I'm not quite old enough to relate, but I know my older siblings would!! 😂
I feel like the past few lunch breaks have a lot more of a natural introduction like when you guys first started this talk show. I mean I would watch/love it either way but I like it xD Also Chris is so popular that my brother was friends with him in college lol

Phil is looking so in this video😁😁
These lunch breaks are fun :)
Idk why but Phil's "Ming" girl was so funny 😂
Benson was a savage this time loooool.
Hey! There's nothing wrong with Blockbuster hahahahaha I'm proud to be an 80s and 90s kid.
Love that thumbnail! Phil as a blonde is hilarious
ohmygod i love benson's mug
omg i totally agree with ashley!! there wasnt too much drama in high school lol
I think Benson is the coolest member among the whole Wong - Fu crew! Next is Christine, but sadly she had to leave. No fret, I believe they'll reunite one day. Hint, hint, I think Phil had a major crush on Christine.
Wow there is a whole new layer of wongfu we have yet to uncover (esp chris!!! What are you?!)

Love the thumbnail 10/Phil would’ve seen it again
"Ming Girls" loooool
ROTC Fam 🙌🏻
haha that thumbnail is hilarious
Lol I swear I watched Asian Bachelorette 10 times and shared it too all my friends
I'm the artsy kid! I'm always show up in my drama kit or have paint on my shirt. Or else, I'm getting a permit from the teacher to leave class early to set up for orchestra and choir!
Phil! I went to Northgate High too, and it has not changed much since you were there
Ik exactly what ashley means!! Because there were popular kids in primary school, but in highschool theres so many kids and everyone's so invested in their excellence programs that they dc. The primary school populars are still known but not everyone likes them.
YEAAH CSUN FASA Benson
I was so insecure I felt like I wasnt liked by my classmates but they all jsut didnt know me and so we were always friendly. But our school is compared to the american smaller anyway

Maryam Same, fam. But I have cliques. I'm just generally friendly with the whole class unless I feel weird when I see them. (Trust me. It happens...) Also, I'm friendly with the aunties and uncles. I'm just... Super loud. Lmao. I'd like to say I'm chill but... I'm loud.
don't know why I liked this lunch break so much. but made my day better =)

Coming from Hawaii, it's honestly hard to say who was popular in high school. I was a floater like Ashley though. I was in council, hung out with the breakdancers, gamers/anime kids, graphic arts people, yearbook. I do think my high school is very different now than when I graduated (back in 2010. Yikes!)
I was in the smart kids group in high school. Random people from the cafeteria occasionally would ask us for help because we were known as the smart kids. Then again, being smart at my school wasn't really a bad thing but instead all the kids in the higher level classes were good friends and ended up winning most of the popularity related events (things like homecoming).
This episode OMG lol I can't stop laughing. Please Be kind rewind 😂
Marching Band! And I was proud of it!
POLLO LOCO IS SO BOMB
I graduated last year and I was always that one introverted kid who can easily be found in the art room. I had a couple friends from each group of clicks so I guess I'm neither popular or unpopular lol. And through out elementary to high school..I was always known to be nice, quiet, and the creative one who could be funny 🤔
ASB ALL THE WAY!!!! Freshmen Class Vice President! WE ARE '21!!
Aahhh. I'm finally early-ish. But it's like 11:00 pm over here
When I was in High School, I could say that I'm a drifter like Ashley because I belonged in different groups. I had my actual circle and also had friends from different levels because I was the Math Club President and the Managing Editor of our School Paper 😂😂 People would know me not because I'm popular but because they would always see me roaming around the campus with my big camera hahahahaha
I loved going to Blockbuster back in the day ^^
the blockbuster part had me dying 😂😂
The guys with the fidget spinner is my university president. #UF #REPRESENT
Freshmen year I joined like 5 orgs but then second year of college I couldnt rejoin any bc nursing school got hectic and I basically had no life hahaha. But college really opened up my eyes to having more diverse ethnic relationships since I came from a high school that was mostly Filipino. Majority of my college friends aren't Filipino! One org that I really enjoyed though was KASA -- Korean American Student Association. We had a big bro, little sis or big sis, little bro thing that it was nice because I got free gifts and was able to meet a ton of new people!
I’m exactly like benson during the transition of primary to secondary school 😂 #relateable #averagestudent
omg that's so true! the popular kids always say there weren't any popular kids XD (yes, there are always popular people. they may not be viewed like those in movies, but they're still popular haha)
Haha, very true, Ashley! High schools in Hawaii have kids who are well-known/liked, but we don't necessarily have "cliques". And (ahem) you were very popular. As far as I knew, you were well-liked. ^^
actually, Reed hastings started Netflix film rental back in 1997 so unless Phil graduated college in the 90s, he DID have that available.
I was a drifter, like Ashley talked about. Friends all over, and happy on my own. I was easy to talk to but I didn't care about other people's opinions of me. It was pretty good, actually.
i went to a pretty elite high school where everyone is upper upper middle class and up. the super rich kids in my year were the "popular" ones. it wasn't so much that people wanted to be like them but more that everyone knew who they were and just wanted their wealth (which is so crazy when you think about it? we were already so privileged but so, so greedy).
I clicked for the thumbnail
I saw Phil's name under ASB President for his class on this thing we have for every graduating year.
Scott Bradley....founder of PostModern Jukebox! I could see him as a popular guy hehe. Chris tried to save you Phil, with Redbox, but alas...
10:26 ayyy it's UF's president!....figdet spinning...ok then....
Theater kids were popular at my school too. Probably cuz our school shows were actually good since we were a fine art school. So if you were on stage, people would recognize you more.
Until I was 16, all my friends were Japanese or Chinese in school mainly because we took all the same classes. I had one Hispanic friend who went to a Catholic School because my mother was friends with his parents. At 16, I started working full time so my friends were co-workers who were older than me. It made me realize not to sweat the little problems most kids found in High School. After that my High School friends dropped away. I found other friends who were older running the gamut from good to bad, as in criminal behavior. Funny, my criminal friends were better than my good friends when he came time to needing someone to count on. To this day, my best friend is an ex-con. We stay in touch daily.
Mean-g Dynasty 😂
I drifted from 3-4 groups, through out lunch break. But I still had my one main group.
Omg. When you find out ashley was in delta sigma pi and you are too. 😍 but she's gone now ); pac coast!

Ashley was the "pot girl" XDD
Benson' peak in popularity in middle school was after his rap battle #tbt
I've never started a fight in school but fought every single day. First worlders are lucky, even more this generation born in the information era.
Woohoo I'm in the Filipino club and Vietnamese club too!
i always tried to blend in during high school so i thought i was average too until people told me that they thought i was that cool kid everyone wanted to be friends with~!! so that was nice for my self esteem LOL
at 9:03, that's when we remember how old phil is. hahahahahahhaha xD
I was the Thai kid in the Vietnamese student association 😂
I make pottery in high school too!
yep, at my high school the popular kids were athletes and theatre kids
