WEO Bottle Review: Electrolyzed Water For Peak Performance, Anti-Aging, Skin & Gut Health?

This smart bottle is meant to work some kind of magic on your water. 🪄✨
Weo uses electricity to apparently enhance the natural health properties of your drinking water at a molecular level. The brand suggests this provides an antioxidant-rich water that helps the brain and body work more efficiently, improves exercise performance, skin and gut health, regulates the immune system, and boasts anti-aging properties.
In this review video, I chat with Weo's Chief Health Officer, Dr. Kelly Halderman, about the purported health benefits of drinking Weo water, and dig into the bottle's inner workings. Then, I outline what I like - and what I do not like - about my experience with Weo.

A fair and unbiased review as always Gemma (how you keep a straight face when reading out the product marketing guff at the start of the video is beyond me!) It's hard to know where to start with this particular product. I do admire the WEO creator's enthusiasm for the bottle, but some of the claims seem a bit of a stretch to say the least. HRV is improved due to the WEO water. Really? So many factors contribute to HRV - sleep duration and quality, nutrition, stress, activity levels. Unless these are identical on a day to day basis (almost impossible) there is no control for the experiment and therefore no way of knowing if the WEO water was the contributing and deciding factor. Maybe the reported benefits came from increased hydration which would have come from just drinking more tap water? The data she refers to may be “irrefutable” but the conclusions drawn from it surely are not? As I think you noted, while the alleged benefits are great but they are just, at the moment, alleged. Products like this do seem so far “out there” that they could easily fit into an episode of Black Mirror, with a bit of Chris Morris’ Brass Eye thrown in. Even within the area of First World Problems this is pretty niche. And, while clearly aimed at the 1%, marginal gain types it doesn’t sit well when there are so many people in the world who don’t have access to regular clean drinking water. Keep up the good work Gemma - can’t wait to see what you find next!

That’s exactly the same points I had in favor and against. I feel overall frustrated with the little information provided. Water tastes good. The app is kind of useless. Would be good to know about about this vs or plus methods like the ones proposed by Marcel Violet and or vortex for water. Those other two also propose to restructure water and the second you can do it for free. Interested to hear your feedback.
