It was a blast to play the reworked Wendy and create all the parts after playing the 129 days. There are some tricks I didn't showcase though... Including free butterfly wings/butter farming using siesta lean-to with planted flowers all-around with Abigail during summer - Easily fightable evil birchnut trees with Abigail - Kiting Giants with Abigail and vigor mortis - Teleporting out of the antlion 'ring' and let Abigail solokill her - and a few more. Also, a minor trick wasn't explained and it consists of unsummoning Abby when you're insane, kill shadow creatures and summon her back to gain more sanity; I used it a few times in the run. Lots of events could have been skipped to achieve the goal which was killing the 12 bosses without weather pains as Wendy. However, I really wanted to show my general playstyle and also offer various building choices for the viewers. I wanted to show everything I could about the RoT/QoL updates that I missed for so long. Plus, I honestly think it spiced up the run because otherwise you'd have pretty much the same route than the Webber Stories' one. Some of the structures and events were totally optional, such as : the bunnymen farm, volt goat farm, grass gekko farms, all the pearl tasks, glass cutters, stone fruit bushes, bull kelps, spider farm, bearger log farming and many more. I must diversify the content I propose otherwise it makes no sense to re-do the same video gameplays over and over. Don't you agree? Regarding Crab King, I won't kill that boss in the series. It shall leave us another opportunity to play & edit a full series where I will definitely kill the boss. And hopefully, until then, some new RoT content will make the boss useful to kill, who knows? I gotta say, the fight was a blast. Tanking the final boss, as Wendy, completely ignoring mind control and easily killed healers. This series is the best for showing the true potential of The mournful twins

As someone who only plays Wendy (for the most part). This has been very insightful to me. I have used your play through to change up the way I play as wendy completely, killing BQ without bunnymen for the first time, and kiting dragonfly instead of tanking her. I did not want to become a standard Wendy player who had Abby fight for her. I improved the very way I played with the tips and tricks you have given me. The way I play wendy will never be the same.

Well done Don! I wondered who would be the first to use FuriousChimera/Zausberkunst's strat in a full recorded playthrough, and I couldn't have hoped for a better DST KZreadr to showcase it than you : )

Loved this from start to finish! Definitely feel more confident about playing DST as Wendy now!

I hadn't played much Wendy, thought mostly she was good Vs small mobs and her .75x damage modifier made taking on bigger bosses tough. But the amount of nuance and strategy that she has with Abigail has now made her one of my favourite characters.

i jsut sat here from what ever time to 1:52 am to watch this whole playthrough. really enjoyed it. you got a new sub

i have an idea about the fight. since fuelweaver almost never moved the place you reanimate him, so if u make him chase to the one of the corners and put the abigail to gate side it wont be able to eat any woven shadows but u should be careful about the distance between you and abigail cuz when you trying to kill shadow hands u might make her chase u, so pick your corner carefully!

Wow! That Fuelweaver strategy was amazing! I knew Abby could be handy for that fight but I wasn’t able to properly do the fight yet so I ended up cheesing him. I think that’s alright though since it’s my first time with his loot in a solo world and I can’t wait to now go back and fight him legitimately now that I’ve seen a strategy in action! This series was awesome and honestly made Wendy my favorite character to play as with how useful she is in so many different situations! Thank you for doing this series and am looking forward to more videos in the future! :)

I always struggled with this boss but recently in my Warly's world, it felt way too easy. Seing this strat with Wendy felt even dumber. I dont think ill play her in the future but it's still cool to see the potential of the character. I learned some cool tricks in this run and im always astonish how fast you guys can kill that many boss in one or two years. I tried it but since im not "speedruning", i probably loose some time while trying to build a decent base haha. Was a pleasure to see this playthrough but kind of sad that now i will not wait for tuesday and friday anymore. Cant wait to see your next video :D

what do you use for editing?

hey would you have any tips for Fuelweaver ? im playing Wendy i tried to fight him just like u did in this video but it was a total disaster. then i tried the normal way that was even worse. he always manages to heal no matter what theres always at least like 4 woven shadows that spawn bellow him that basically insta heal him. im trying to fight him on a world with too many items so i can easily practice and dont run out of lazy explorers weather pains etc but even with that i found myself fighting him for days he just wont die because of that healing phase. also i dont know how you managed to keep abigail alive and get her to kill all the woven shadows. mine is just kinda there Killing only about 25% of the shadows and before i can kill the hand things so i can damage fuelweaver he just hits her two times and shes gone.

The Abigail placement I had was simply godlike and the fact she didnt move that much during the fight was crucial but also luck to be honest. I dont have any other tips though, just keep it up and you will succeed. Usually I help Abby to clear some of the woven shadows that come too close and arent in her range, just like in the video.
