    @@paddyk6902 No, but please understand, like most people in the world, I am not a basketball expert. However, the record audience numbers and other KPI such as the most viewed video ever on NBA being currently of Wemby, do seem to indicate there's something "more" about him, and while I cannot describe it in basketball terms, I can certainly see I am but one among millions being drawn to it, perhaps for the first time. 🙂

    An underrated aspect of Wemby’s frame is that it allows him to not need to get much stronger to reach his potential. He doesn’t need to look like Giannis. He can stay thin but maintain all the would-be benefits of adding weight. He’s the best defensive player in the whole league right now. If you move him out of the way under the basket because he’s skinny, guess what, he’s still blocking everything you put up. Then on offense, he can essentially move like KD against all matchups and maintain maximum agility.

    my thoughts exactly. he doesnt need to bulk up like everyone says. he can stay the way he is utilizing his flexibility, speed rather than focusing on power. you muscle him out, he can still reach you on defense and on offense - where do you want to push him to? his range goes from rim to beyond the 3pt...

    @@danielhong3880 He'll bulk up, he's already bigger now. It's just hard to tell because he's lanky, but if you see pictures in before draft and now, he's put on a good amount of size. He's still young, he hasn't stopped growing in mass yet. Men don't stop growing in mass and bone density until their late 20s. His bones will get wider and more dense, so will his muscles.

    I have a question here: why are his blocks where he actually gets the ball and starts to dribble not counted as steals too?

  • @samrs2010

    @samrs2010

    3 ай бұрын

    I think he gets a rebound maybe? That’s usually what happens when the ball os blocked. It then becomes considered a shot attempt so the next person that gains possession will be credited with a rebound. For it to classify as a steal, I believe it had to not be a shot attempt.

  • @DroneStrike1776

    @DroneStrike1776

    Because this is the NBA. They'll figure it out and stop him. You can't run the same play over and over, it also builds bad team chemistry if only one person is shooting the ball. It's a team game.

    5:15 thats a charge, no offense to Wemby, love his game tho. Refs are just horrible, they dont call travels anymore, its happens every play as well as carries, yea it used to be a thing, So many players carry the ball its sad. Ref really need to go back to ref school. The announcer needs to get a new catch phrase, "oh mana Wembanyama" is already getting old as he uses it every other play.

  • @jeanjacques9365

    Fully agree with the catch phrase, after 2 weeks it was already old. For reffing well it's a league decision unfortunately and players have been playing according to what is called and what isn't. Can't blame the players from taking advantage of what is given to them.
