Wemby took on arguably the best team in Europe, a team with seven former NBA players, and was easily the best player on the floor. I don't think he'll hit the ground running like Luka, but he's gonna be very good very quickly.

What impresses me most is that he clearly refuses to put himself in a box. Wemby can make any shot because he'll try any shot, which is the sort of confidence and creativity you would want out of a 19-year-old with all the talent in the world. If he went through the AAU, it's easy to imagine those coaches would've pressured him to stick to post-ups, rebounding, and shot-blocking instead of figuring out just how many skills he has.

His percentage is actually below average, they only show you the makes not the misses. That being said, he's got the form so it only needs little adjustments.

His free throw percentage and his shot form make it easy to project him to be a good shooter in the future. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he shoots quite poorly from deep in his first season: something close to 30% from 3 is probably likely.

He is definitely gonna be a game changer. The league has been put in notice.

Moving like a guard at his height is something special and gifted.
