Investigatory trip to Wells Harbour lure fishing for Bass. The May weather had churned up the beaches where I usually fish with lure. However the water clarity was perfect at Wells. Weed was a little issue, plenty of people about on this day. From this trip I would say anywhere is good to fish, from the lifeboat shed all the way to the mouth entrance. Two hours before high and two hours after. The ebb looked particularly good with the lures working against the current. You would need a typical big tide for the Bass. Remember not to get cut off by the tide!!!!
