This is painful to watch. This man is struggling to call racism by name. Sir call it out. Your neighbor is a racist. Your hurt is palpable and racism is also palpable. Please speak up NOW! Your family is counting on you.

Postelle Birch I noticed that too. He wouldn't even say hey friends were white... He's just waking up to the racism in Wellington. The funny thing is that guy said that he's been there for five years and he's speaking out about who belongs to there smdh... He probably retired to florida...not even home grown but this man has been there since the 80s with no problems.

That world is losing its sting and he knows it. There may also be underlying issues with this neighbor who he is having to live with. And he wants to make sure it’s not washed under the rug as just more racism. You will never get rid of it. If you go to any country you will find native people who do not want outsiders there. It’s no different here except it’s from outsiders?? We r all outsiders here except for the native Americans. It’s just sad he had to experience this. But this man can see that this is one incident in years and years . He was otherwise happy. So it’s not prevalent. But it does happen. And it’s a sore spot for the black Americans. See white people deal with Karen’s all the time but we blow it off as nosy nellies. But when the black Americans deal with it even if it’s just a nosy Nellie and she isn’t racist that is how it FEELS. And that is sad.

I am so sorry that this incident happened to you and these young folks. You are obviously a wise and lovely man. Keep being a good example to those around you. And keep being yourself, and proud, and happy. And speak out whenever you need to, in the way you did this time.

The man is absolutely amazing! To keep his composure & to go back & fact check before he reported the guy is amazing. Everything he did & said was just amazing. A genuinely good hearted man!

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. What’s in your heart will manifest in your actions. He automatically assumed the black girl didn’t belong in the neighborhood. 2020 and people still act like we living in 1950 and 1960 segregated. Well I am pretty sure he doesn’t have Jesus in his heart and works for the devil 👿 so one day he will meet his maker👿

Wellington is a classy guy! He's not afraid. He's just trying to unpacked his situation and his experiences. If he knows one thing!!! He knows he is a black man. This man is trying to speak as eloquently about this situation. As black people we try to avoid this crap over & over again!!! I thank God for his response. Racism never go away. Racism isn't the black man's family its the racist neighbor problem.

TechReviewz - He may come across as classy and all that, but he is way too loquacious and indirect. Call a damned spade a spade. Listening to him was exhausting after awhile.

If he had just said "it was because she is Black", this type of dialog would not happen. We NEED these type of Socratic thought processes. He's making people THINK about what is going on instead of giving racially charged sound bites that just incites rage and anger.

Are you serious? Calling a spade a spade doesn't make US racist, contrary to the gaslighters who claim it, and it certainly isn't the cause for the racism. That is something within those people that needs to be addressed/called out by one of their own. It's not enough to not be racist! You have to actively call it out when you see it!
