Is this a stick welder you would recommend? Me and my dad tried a no name stick welder and wanted to use it as a boat anchor after a couple of ruined sticks.

Kemmpi minarc, esab, ewm pico, are all the good brands, at least here in the netherlands. Stay away from lincoln now, they are not making quality stuff anymore, at least for the smaller stuff tho

7016 or 7018 sticks are the way to go for this. Good work, i think it will work fine for you. Do you machine the inside to?

And maybe you can use the rotating function for feed on the manifold block for all of the functions. Then have auxillary high pressure left for someting else. Rotating is usually 180 - 200 bar witch is fine. And that is switched with a 6/2 valve, so mounting 2 seperate pressure relese valves back to tank will cover the problem.

I need to control the outlets true the pedals for controlling the flow / speed of the tilt /grab so it will be an 4 hose system with 1 set for rotation and 1 set to the manifold. But I could have the rotation as you say from the manifold as an extra outlet🤔

@@MiniMachines1 oh yeah i understand, you want to use both functions at the same time, tilt ant turn. My thougt was that the whole thing can run on only 1 section/function. Another thing you can do is running it from the return of the blade control manifold in case you got an seperate pump for that. If you have a hydraulic schematic of your excavator then we can look what possibilities you have. Ps the second valve is a proportional valve. You can see that by the extra stripes on the top and bottom of the valve icon/picture. I dont know how many volts it can handle. Maybe you can find something about that.

@@megape95 Yes both functions and let the pedal decide speed of rotation and tilt, ore for feel for the grab so it's not only on/off with an switch. I figured that the valves is proportional and is hoping 12v is full open and I than can run only an switch from the cab to the B side and control flow and direction with the pedal If not I need to buy some on/off valve that fits on the manifoild that is ment for continues 12v for open.

You could also have thamked "Maskinisten" where you got som invaluable tips! But remember that cast-iron is not the same as cast-steel. You mended cast-steel. Repairing cast-iron is a completely different procedure. But well done!

Yes that's true maskinisten is an forum with a lot of great people 😊 a lot of help in there with almost anything 👍 yes I will try and weld an manifold for an old engine when the excavating season is over since I have the rods now for cast iron, for testing 😊
