Welding Table - Fixing Mistakes
In this video I fix a mistake I made in previous video. I welded all plates to the table and due to welds shrinkage my table top curved down. So here is the best solution I think.
Free plans to this this table you will find in the link below. All plans I ever made I collected in one place. Save this link for future - I will add new plans to this collection and don't forget to subscribe to my channel to stay tuned.

Brilhante sua lógica.
Very nice job, you received the stress in the steel. Kudos for figuring it out.
you were right, best solution! i would have been prepared to grind off all of the slats, but this was much faster and easier.

Hello sir
I have the same problem with my welding table, and I'll try to fix it that way too. Thanks !!!
Well done ,great job
I'm glad to have seen that, thank you. Cheers
That was clever! 👍
You have presented a very interesting method and I can personally use it in my workshop. Thanks for your good idea.

thanks for sharing the knowledge
You may want to get a guide from Lincoln electric, it shows what rods to use in exact scenarios and will help with machine settings. These guides are out there in the wild!!!
Such an easy fix. ⏳
Hey man: hello to Brazil! Parabéns pelo excelente vídeo!
brilliant....
Ouch... That was worse than my workbench (which I still have to flatten)... 😬 But it's surprising how easily you fixed it! I imagined it was going to be much more difficult! Fantastic work!!! Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Contrainte positive avant soudage and you be almost perfect the first time 👍 good job
Thicker steel on the welding top and that would not have happened. Very good job.
Very good! I wanted to say on your previous video that I would put a weld line on the bottom to equalize the bending. Glad to see you figured it out. :)

I was shocked that those weld beads on the bottom were so effective! Great job!
Nice 👍

Yes sir
good trick
Top!
Nice solution. Could you please explain more on how this solution works? I mean how to determine the number and place of the counteract welds. Thanks.

I think he was repeated all weldings from other side
Hi there, I am so impressed with all your work, incredible skill. Can I ask you please, as I am just assembling my own workshop, what is the welding rig you use. Is it Ac/dc? Can it weld aluminium and steel?
You want Lincoln guides and no other.
I was wondering if you originally used tig for the build? I know that tig can cause more warpage sometimes. I am now cutting my material for a table that is almost identical to yours.
smart
If you understand that you are well on your way!
okay 👌
👍👍👍
great job , how thick the top plates?
@zbokanov
It is 8 mm
🙂👌
@asma9323

@GRINwood

@GRINwood
Easy fix? You guys dont have a car jack?
