Top job on that subframe! Most guys would spend big bucks on replacing the whole thing.

How strong would a welded swingarm be because mine had be aluminium welded and it cracked but I’ve been told about tig welding it

Typically I stay away from welding things like frames and swing arms, they have the potential to hurt you if you have part failure. I'd recommend looking for a used swing arm if you have a tighter budget 🤘

@@AdvSouthAfrica the budget is no worries it’s just finding a good condition Rm85L swing arm for a 07 nowadays is no easy task. Do you know if it got tig welded with a sleeve on the inside if it would be very strong

Very hard to see how strong it will be without seeing the part but honestly rather try find a replacement. You're also relying on the skill of the welder there. Also if the swing arm snapped then double check suspension because swing arms shouldn't be cracking up

@@AdvSouthAfrica it’s where the swing arm had been extended to fit bigger wheels and it’s cracked on one of the welds
