Wishing KZread had a feature of being able to comment with a photo but Weld S71's are a phenominal wheel choice! I have some S71's reps on my dark teal 91 RS, 18x10 and 18x8 wrapped with some Continental Extreme Contact DWS06's with 295/35/R18's in the rear and 245/35/R18's in the front. Shouldve gotten some meatier tires in the front to be honest but I just love the looks of these wheels. Keep up the great content man

a 10in wheel would need like 5.75in-6in backspacing But it can vary from car to car. I know a 17x9.5 or 18x9.5 with 5.5 or 5.25in backspacing fits like 99% of 3rdgens. perfect for a 275/40r17 or 275/35R18 tire. Decent tire selection in those sizes.

ulysses ur 100% race, a 18x11 is gonna be a bad time for a street driven car. Remember, tire compound > tire width. run say a Yokohama 275/35r18 A052 tire on a 18x9.5 and you'll have Plenty of grip. as far as ordering, these are all Custom orders. so you won't find any off the shelf wheels in that size.

it's hard to compare times directly because every Autocross course is different. that and diver skills improve over time. but going from 400tw 245s to 200tw 295 was worth abut 8 seconds a lap. Also my suspension was 100% ready for those tires, so a more tame build might not gain as much.
