Seeing Yankees stadium descend into a tatrum after ARod was called out is my favorite sequence in sports. Just the absurdity of ARod doing that and then the fans probably pissed that their team might actually blow a 3-0 lead was just priceless.

im 28 years old and remember how crushed everyone was around me when the pats lost the super bowl in 96 but i wasnt old enough to really care. once i hit about 9 or 10 i was obsessed with everything boston sports and it felt like we just sucked at everything. Little did i know i was about to witness the greatest run in pro sports by any city. In the passed 17 years boston sports teams have been in 17 championship appearances and have had 12 victories. This almost made me shed a tear... as a true sports fan thats a dream come true. awesome video. had to watch it in parts lol

People weren't really crushed in 96, no one thought the Pat's were gonna beat green bay. As a 9 yr old kid I was crushed but I dont think that adults really were playing a far superior team with Parcells already out the door. I always thought the way he handled that was classless. But great coaches dont have class, they win football games

@Brian Dubowik Dude the Yankees won 4 of 5 from 1996 to 2000. That's when the dynasty started. And then we won another in 2009. It's all relative. But my point remains. The Yankees are still recent winners, and the Red Sox spend more money than anyone else. So, sure, brag it up winning last year but don't be a hypocrite.

Amazing Video .....!!!! So it;s 10;oo p.m. on a Tuesday Night i decide to make a big bowl of popcorn and get a 24 ounce ice filled glass of Diet Pepsi...... Turn down the lights and sit in my recliner, point the remote to my smart T.V. and press play.... I've been a Patriots and Red Sox fan for many many years, From the day i understood sports i cheered for the team from Boston and New England..... Anyway as i watch this video, i understand how lucky i have been to see the championships they have won.. I thought in the 80s and 90s that mountain kept growing to large to conquer, and along came this thing called Y2K, And with a blink of an eye that Mountain became a mole hill and these Patriots and Red Sox were skipping over it so simple, didn't matter down 3-0 in an amazing ALCS Series or come from behind by 10 in a 4th quarter of a Super Bowl, these boys becoming Men showed me and hopefully all of us no mountain is to high to conquer ,.. I found myself fist pumping, getting goosebumps, adrenaline racing through my veins wishing i was on the field with anyone of these teams, but hey they needed me in the stands or glued to a T.V. somewhere, more then the field cheering till my voice failed me and my claps would have to do instead of yelling at the top of my lungs Lets Go This Never Gets Old......... I have been so so lucky and i only hope alf the fans of Teams that have not got there, can at least once in a life time feel what i have been so lucky to have felt and seen 10 times now between my 2 Favorite Teams.. But if your not a Red Sox or Patriots fan, Please don't hate on me for cheering for them..... If were in the stands or at a lounge, bar, if you sit next to me i understand we are humans and can be friends, heck we can bet a beer on the game and enjoy it together after and say wow this life we live is nothing short of amazing to have these sporting events that gives us such great entertainment.......

SO many defining moments. Red Auerbach having the guts to draft Larry Bird and waiting a year, the super trade for McHale and Parrish, Belichek drafting TB12 in the sixth round where ANY TEAM could have had him, The acquisition for David Ortiz, the greatest clutch performer in Red Sox history, the Bloody Sock, the team of idiots, the Bruins riding Tim Thomas to the Stanley Cup. But best of all, was the destruction of the NY Yankees by coming back from a 3-0 deficit to make it to the World Series and Reversing the Curse. As a Boston fan, we were mired for decades in misery except for the 60's Celtics. Knowing misery and having it turned to joy after such suffering, no NY fan will know that, well, maybe Jets fans.

Boston Rocks and Rules! 12 Championships in the last 20 years has been a blessing, with many more to come. Loved them all. 2004 Red Sox Championship is still Number one for me, because it meant so much, and made up for 1946, 1967, 1975, 1978, 1986 and 2003. Red Sox won in 2004, 2007, 2013 and 2018 made up for it big time. What made them all successful, was drought ending. I recall, that when the Celtics won it all in 1986, it was fantastic, but after the Celtics won Sweet 16, things were slow, our teams struggled, and had to wait 15 yrs, for the Championship to come, which was the Patriots in February of 2002, which was the start of many things, for the Patriots, and as a Patriot fan, I had not heard of Brady, because I grew up with Bledsoe. Boston Championships goes back to my junior high school days, going into high school and college. Bruins won the Cup, in 2011, ended 39 yrs in 2011, and biggest thing since the Bobby Orr era, Celtics ended 22 years in 2008, with Banner 17, and it was so important with returning to Celtic Pride. So grateful and thankful, that Boston has seen so much Championship glory, and so many more to come. We take what is ours for the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics. Been remarkable and tremendous times. Boston=City of Champions and Titletown USA!

LOVE THIS EPIC MOVIE ON THE CITY OF BOSTON, THE NEW ENGLAND REGION, AND THE TITLE...... OF TITLE TOWN 2.0!!!! Think of this for those who are viewing this comment..... since Feb 3rd, 2002 THE 4 MAJOR BOSTON SPORTS TEAMS has made it to 18 Championship appearances (9 Super Bowls, 4 World Series, 3 Stanley Cup finals, 2 NBA finals). That's means in nearly 20 years at least 1 Championship appearance for one of these teams every year. And out of the 18 appearances---- 6 SB CHAMPIONSHIPS, 4 WORLD SERIES TITLES, 2011 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS, NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER #17 HOISTED TO THE GARDEN RAFTERS! 12 CHAMPIONSHIPS in 18 appearances. What will the next 20 years of the 21st century have in store for BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND Pro sports? We'll shall see. We've heard all the boasting, the spewing, the HATRED, the wishful thinking, the woulda-coulda-shoulda, from those who want nothing but for all of teams of BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND but to spin back into the miserable, persistent cry babies of their past sorrowful history that THEY SHOULD BE KNOWN FOR. WE HERE AS BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND SPORTS FANS will say one thing------ (as David Ortiz said) THIS IS OUR F###IN' CITY!!!! AND NOBODY IS GOING TO DICTATE OUR FREEDOM! THE BEST SPORTS CITY IN THE WORLD IS BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND!!!!!

I am a Chicago Blackhawks Fan.....No other sport much matters to me..I live too close to Green Bay in Wisconsin.....Those nice people in Green Bay call their town "Titletown". They believe this..... No one outside Wisconsin probably thinks much of Green Bay as Titletown if they know it at all. Living here with the tunnel vision people I hear the less than complimentary attributes lavished on Tom Brady. I am speaking to Patriots fans now. No one else need apply. Tom Brady in my modest opinion is, has been, and will continue to be the greatest asset, not just to the Patriots and you their fans, but the greatest asset to the very definition....of HEART. He is above and out of reach of his desperate detractors. They will be forgotten minutes after their careers. Tom will always be remembered not just as the greatest player the NFL has ever been graced with, but a model to young athletes the world over. Tom Brady speaks the language of hunger. Never be satisfied. Never surrender. Trust in your abilities and your team mates. Value the lessons taught to you. Feel blessed if you are the last chosen, for you are chosen. Grasp that chance with all your heart and charge headlong with it into destiny. Never look back.BE BOSTON STRONG.

I was born and raised in Upstate NY. I am 27 years old. I have always been a Red Sox, Celtics, and Broncos fan. Both my parents are Yankees and Giants fans (they don't watch basketball). I absolutely lost my mind watching the '04 Sox win. And again watching the Broncos win Super Bowl 50. Though I can't stand people who are bandwagon fans of the Pats since they started winning, I can't help but have admiration for those fans that have been with them for life. Kraft, Belichick and Brady took a nobody team into a dynasty. Boston truly is a city of champions, and considering how happy I was watching those few victories, I am very happy for those who have experienced it over and over again as die-hard New England fans!

I was born in Boston in 1960, seen many greasy teams, but before the Patriots dynasty me and my dad (RIP), watched the pats since 1965, there wasnt many wins, still it was great learning sports from him, anyway back in the day, Bill Russell and the Celtics in a 14 year stretch won 11 championships in 14 years, that was a dynasty. My dad died the year before the Patriots won their first Superbowl, I like to think maybe my praying to him he knows about the Superbowls won. 🙏

Spencer this is truly an awesome little doc you've done. I mean it's very nicely edited and I like the way you've incorporated all 4 pro teams in the market; using the bad times right before leading up to the championship game and moment of glory. It's very climactic and gives the casual fan a suspenseful feeling and glimpse into the roller coaster ride of emotions that comes with passionate fanhood. I'm not from Boston nor have I sworn allegiance to the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox or Patriots. I'm a Philadelphia "4 for 4" guy But I can certainly appreciate the current era in Boston sports and how the fans are trying to take the elation of the past 20 years and reconcile it with the angst of the century or so preceding it. We have had our spotty moments of triumph over the past 20 but certainly it is more seldom than I would like. Beating the greatest QB of all time in SB LII was definitely my favorite moment ever considering who he is, who the coach is, who they've beaten and how they've beaten them (Atlanta 28-3. Just kill yourselves ATL) I was just very curious how you were able to get permission, clearance, licences (whatever you wanna call it) to use clips from networks like NBC FOX WEEI CBS, other clips from other videos etc. I'm not privy to the copyright jargon so just wondering as I'm in pre production on a somewhat similar project using Philadelphia sports but with the backdrop of other issues in the city and events involving local citizens relative to a specific team. Again I enjoyed this thoroughly and as a fan of all sports and greatness kudos to you

They are all right up there in the top 5 at least. Just something about the old school styles each one finds a way to hang on to, even while keeping up with the modern pace of their game, there is nothing like it ANYWHERE.
