I remember seeing this with my mother (who was a big action movie fan), and she just shook her head when he said that. 😆

You know what's amazing about this scene? Yeah, Mason memorized the timing. But he memorized the timing on his way OUT, as part of his escape. Meaning that even if he does remember the timing, he still goes through it *backwards* from what he remembers three decades ago. That's some badass shit.

@@fisterhr The 2000s brought very good things too ! 😃 The Harry Potter saga, LOTR, The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Carabeans, Ocean's 11, Spider-man, the Matrix and Jason Bourne trilogies, the Star Wars prelogy, the rebirth of peplum especially with Gladiator and Troy, Spielberg's Minority Report and War of the Worlds, Avatar (I am not a fan but it was a huge success worldwide)... I forgot any many more movies and franchises, of course. 😉 The decline begins during the 2010s in spite of good ones, including the Hunger Games saga and the last 2 Daniel Craig's James Bond movies !!! 😃😍

Just saw this movie for the first time last night: 3/1/23. I don’t know why I waited so long. Classic Michael Bay film with lots of explosions and guns. The car chase scene is one of the best ever. Bay put all the car chase tropes into it!

1 of the Most Iconic Sayings of the 90's in my opinion, Sean Connery saying "Welcome To The Rock"

There was a time when actors made us want to be them by being heroic having strong morals and having swag and generally being decent human beings. I think Connery was one of those great actors.

One of the most underrated movies ever, instant classic. Watching those clips make me want to watch entire movie from beginning for like 20th time :)

It would have been funny if Connery had burn marks on him and smoke coming off his clothes when he opened the door for the SEALS. Timing changed just slightly.

What's REALLY impressive is he would have to remember the timing and think of it BACKWARDS as he's starting from his exit point as opposed to starting from the entry point when he escaped.

Those guys have managed to defend themselves and avoid annihilation from the enemies that surround their tiny country, not having anywhere to run but to the Mediterranean sea. What other people from a small country can say the same?

I went to see this movie with my old man when I was 13. What a great movie, my dad was in military and a great fan for sir connery. Goosebumps

@@Timberwolf1992 fair play you know a lot of Bond films, but the man who created Bond, Ian Fleming, based him on a naval officer. So alias or not he’s a Royal Navy man, not army, therefore not now, not ever SAS.

I think Michael Biehns legacy will last forever. Aliens? The Terminator? This movie? Navy Seals? Michael Biehn had the best voice and was much better looking than most men. He’s up there with Brad Pitt.

This Seal Team was the best coz it was unofficially led by history's greatest superspy.

Instead of saying, "That's classified," it would have been cooler if Nicholas Cage just said, "Prison." And then left it at that, lol.
