This is one of the many reasons why I love and respect Adam and Christian, they never just automatically do something. I honestly just want to say how brilliant I thought this whole segment was. The whole history between them, Adams comments about Sting, the way he was getting riled about sting, the use of Christians real name to really hit home this is deeper than wrestling. The fans were amazing throughout and then Christian once again proving why he’s such an incredible heel with just one killer line. This honestly, to me, was just gorgeous

The Crowd chanting Adam's name was awesome. For so long he's been called by his character, and to hear his actual name chanting in the arena instead of Edge had to have been so cool

It’s funny how Adam spoke about Sting making people feel. It was obvious the Christian swerve was coming after the hug but when he said ‘Go F Yourself,’ I felt it! Great heel work and storytelling from both.

I think Christian's current run may be one of the best heel characters I've ever seen. He is so convincing, so cold and can get such intense(but entertaining) heat. Love this run.

His early WWF edge and Christian brood days are great too. He's always been great.

This is especially impactful when you realize that both men thought--with good reason--that their careers were over. When Edge retired in 2011 and Christian retired in 2014, they had to believe that that was it--there was no way the two of them would ever work together in the ring again. And nine years later, here they both are. I can't even begin to imagine what that must mean to them, and what it must feel like.

The attitude era, the ruthless aggression era are what I grew up with, and all I felt was a wave of nostalgia. And that is saying something if u think about it! Because his run as a singles heel back around 2005ish when he started wearing the cool jump suits and first had the new cool ass theme music. He had tomko and had a pretty good feud with Cena. Those few years was what really established him as a main event star. But u may be right this run in aew as a heel could even be a bit better than that run. Christian is, has and prob always will be severely underated. He is head and shoulders above almost anyone he steps into the ring with in every category.

Honestly THIS is the kind of wrestling and promo I like. It felt real, they did it right, they worked the crowd just enough. It doesn’t need to be overproduced to holy hell, just let the ones who can, do. And these pair do it SO DAMN WELL !

Christian is the underrated MVP of AEW. Bro is the kind of heel most aspire to be.

Seeing Edge and Christian back together again (in the same company anyway)...just wow... Great to see how up for this segment the crowd was too. Hope they do eventually team together one last time...that would be beyond awesome.

I was so invested in this, edge of my seat when Adam started his tag team speech and genuinely shocked with Christian’s response. Plus the whole story of Darby/Christian is amazing!

This man is so incredibly happy, you can't help but feel happy listening to him and watching him emote all over the ring.

Christian doing the best work across all his eras. But damn, Adam being all smiles and being real there is so refreshing. I can't wait to see his future with us play out.

Always wanted this to happen but always thought it would of been impossible. Brought a tear to my eye. Thank you Tony Khan for giving us something truly special.

I love that Excalibur explained the story of Adam and Christian for the younger fans. We need MORE of that in wrestling. Not everyone knows the complete history of pro wrestling, lets clue in the new viewers and welcome them with open arms

I really think this is the best version of Christian, and would be half disappointed to see him drop the title to Adam. Unless dropping it to Bryan would help his character save more face, since let's face it, very few people are gonna lose to Bryan within the next year.
