Yeah, but why use them? The foundation is a UN organization, therefore they have to abide by some sort of rules. The chaos insurgency on the other hand, is a restricted by no bounds. They have there own items, and may use them, while the foundation is stuck with Mortal, primitive weaponry.

@@Sammy_82 Last I checked, Chaos are a just a breakaway group so far. And the Foundation has gotten a lot stronger since that incident. To date, Only the Foundation has access to multiple Thaumiel class SCPs

So these guys are basically an evil version of the Foundation? The Foundation without the Ethics committee? I need new pants now.

Sort of, except where the Foundation seeks to lock up anomalous items and study them, the Chaos Insurgency seeks to use anomalous items as weapons and tools to obtain political power. Sort of like Marshall, Carter and Dark, only not motivated by profit and perversion.

What is "evil"? Is it when terrorists and malcontents are repurposed for the good of humanity, the very humanity that they rejected? Is it when a dying child is snatched from the jaws of a simple, mundane microorganism by the application of anomalous science? Is it when the higher orders of reality are exploited to defy the tyranny of lightspeed, so that mankind may claim its future? Is it when humanity *refuses* to be cowed by the unknown and the unknowable, so that we may become greater? When we are liberated from fear? No. These things are not evil. What is truly evil is to lock away our potential in some perverse gallery for weak old men, lacking the will to reach out further, instead preferring to wait for some unknown harbinger to finally do us all in. To try to destroy everything that they do not understand in some Luddite faith of the "true" and the "paranormal". To slave themselves and humanity to money, religion, or whatever other blind waste the next leader of men raises above all else. Or even worse, to bow to the forces of the universe instead of making them bow to us, *as it should be!* I say to you that whatever miniscule evil that comes from fighting the ignorance and death-worship of the cattle who want to prevent the future shall be repaid an order of *infinity* when the great truths are unveiled and all our limitations are rendered null. That is not evil. That is the only moral option there is.

Get ready for a Foundation history lesson magmos because you'll need it to discuss a topic. The Chaos Insurgency was originally a special ops team installed and directed by the 05-X Council that eventually went rogue. During this, how shall we say, small change of direction they made off with multiple SCP's and have long since made it their very mission to obtain more; to militarize them, to combine them, to create a utopia or eliminate problems in essence their very reason for existing is to use SCP's regardless of any messy mishaps or moral dilemmas brought up by the Ethics Committee. The group itself is led by a group that keeps its own identities hidden through channels and other mediums, including the fleshy kind, while most of their recruits are the poor that contribute little to their own nations or average individuals that stumble across them, with the proper training already of course, and excitedly join them with the promises of a better world and a vastly more exciting life in comparison to their previously oblivious state. Which in truth should be extremely enticing. Imagine having a limitless box of pizza just sitting in the cafeteria area, a book that will make you the hero of your own in depth story the instant you fall asleep, and even *God* at your disposal In truth nearly everyone in the Insurgency should be unable to properly contain SCP's or combat the Foundation with the exceptions of "transferred individuals" such as the Dr. mentioned in the video and this is the only way that their organization can possibly function. As for whether or not they are truly "evil" depends on your point of view. It can certainly be said that they are not moral by any stretch of the imagination considering that they are paid to remove their test subjects rather than recruit them from death row and prisons. However, they fall into an area that can be described as amoral, being that they may punch a kitten SCP just to see what happens, but they may also be considered immoral due to their "means meet the end" behavior.

There actually is a general guide for it on the main SCP site if you read through all of it. As to actually writing them it largely depends on the idea itself, your skillful use of punctuation and the English language, reaching the regular attitude made by articles as opposed to an "Joke SCP", and having the ability (and vocabulary) to actually sound like its existence or its effects could be remotely viable from a scientific perspective along with a specific and very fleshed out procedure for containing said SCP. For other bits of advice I would check the main site, but I would definitely look into the "How To Write An SCP" and "The Big List Of Overdone SCP Clichés" sections first. Afterwards I would recommend typing the word "clichés" into their search bar which will create a slew of links leading to other relatively useful articles. Addendum 1/A: When using measurements for containment cells, solid/liquid contents, or the estimated volume and weight of an object you *will* want to use the metric system as opposed to the imperial system. Addendum 1/B: Stay emotionally un-invested in your SCP until Site 19 is finished tearing it (and you) apart. Addendum 1/C: Proofread everything out loud and read it as if you aren't the person who just created it. A reader won't have pride in your work and will read it for what it really is. Addendum 1/D: If you excessively use an excruciatingly long, explanatory paragraph for something that can be summed into a single sentence with a semicolon and two commas you may wish to consider why you are writing it as such. This however does not discourage adding depth to your SCP, but may eliminate extraneously written "fluff" that does not make an article engaging. Addendum 1/E: Do not make an S CoPy that is clearly a rip off of a media reference like Erin from AoT or a Portal Gun from the portal games. Addendum 1/F: Do not abuse the system. It can be used to fill in a logical gap or create intrigue, but using it at an integral part that requires an explanation such as the containment procedure or having several instances of in the entire article (with the exception of results and events during testing or communications between on-site personnel) are nearly irreconcilable.

Rafi Ilman Remember 682 only hates the scp foundation because they are constantly trying to destroy...it. I don't think the Chaos Insurgency wants to destroy 682, i think they want to use 682. Now it's still debatable if 682 would or wouldn't destroy the Chaos Insurgency, but it is something to think about. Who knows maybe they could convince 682 to destroy some of the SCP facilities to acquire more items. it probably wouldn't be to difficult to convince 682 to do it either, as 682 hates the SCP Foundation with a passion. and all they would need to do to keep him under control is feed him, possibly with an SCP Foundation member. Or just a cow every couple of days, i don't think 682 would be to picky. After a while of that 682 will be to big to destroy, and then as the say "here comes chaos!".

Holy Applebutter Nah, foundation is still the better option for me. At least their mission is clear. Secure. Contain. Protect. The Chaos Insurgency are the bunch who left the foundation for their own selfish motives. Both organizations are evil to some respect. But the Foundation is the necessary evil. Chaos Insurgency is just downright evil.
