I was (pleasantly) surprised to see visuals being added as a part of the story. I also liked that you could still listen to the story just fine without the visual since it added something extra rather an be an integral part of the story. I'd love to keep seeing that in the future!

If this is some kind of unidentified outbreak scenario, convenient flagg will end up overwelmed. At that point scp7200 would cause something like the spanish flue iff not a eradication event for all merchant vessels on see.

I don't know how I would feel about being woken up from fatal injuries just to provide information to my job. If his condition was that hopeless, then they must have induced consciousness with a drug. "Hey man, you are on life support, but you aren't fixable. Before we pull the plug tomorrow, could you tell us what happened?"

this is one of those scps that makes me lol. "We evacuated a whole town and debriefed them, here's a the most important result, an interview with an old lady with dementia." if the SCP foundation were real I wonder how many of their contained objects would be blurry photos of dudes in gorilla costumes

2:30 According to the 2021 statistics here there would be a total of 55.000 merchant journeys in the world in the entire year if the 40 dots represent the 0.072% (nearly 1 in 1000) encountering SCP incidents. But the world's merchant fleet consists of over 100.000 merchant ships that make many trips each year. 0.72% of shipping journeys using real statistics would amount to tens of thousands of dots in 2021 alone. if one in a thousand vessels disappeared in transit the world economy would collapse and it would be uncontainable to hide from civilization using any government procedures. Maybe something to correct to make it more believable, make the percentage a looooot lower.

I might get flak for this, but as someone with many folks with autism in my life, I feel like the infantilization of Mike is kinda gross. They really portray folks with autism to be just adult-children, instead of folks with different needs. The concept of the SCP is interesting enough, and the bait-and-switch with the D-class is a cool touch, but I feel like they didn't need to portray him as a mercurial man-child, but maybe I'm overly sensitive here. Not Volgun's fault at all, just a critique of the writing itself.

I read a sci-fi story in an anthology once where aliens have traveled to the burnt out remains of Earth. It was long after the sun had expanded to a red giant and then shrunk down to a white dwarf star. The aliens poked and prodded the spirits bound to the remains of the planet. Each spirit played out its strongest, most enduring memories. Apparently, love does not conquer all. Suffering and anguish are the only eternal emotions. These historians learned about extinct cultures by viewing personal tragedies. Humiliations, homicides, failures, and loss. Those were the only memories the ghosts ever showed, as the historians traveled the galaxy.
