8:05 Great clip! I loved that movie! If nobody else knows what film that's from, it's called "Destination Wedding." Winona and Keanu play two misanthropic singles who meet at her ex- fiancée's wedding. And Keanu is the brother of the groom. Definitely worth checking out.

I demand a math video on the size, rotation, volume, gravity, angle etc of the planet. And how different books are incompatible with the results. How is the world building compared to the 2nd ed World Builders Guidebook?

Yeah it was something one of my players came up with. Destroys targets clothes, removes any polymorph/illusion/alteration to return them to their actual sex, and sets fire to all flammable items within 50 feet. The target is unharmed by the spell other than suddenly being naked. That may change with everything on fire naturally.

I'm a proud owner of this box set, and I say with zero shame that the aerial combat rules, as well as the skyship rules, were skipped over immediately. Because I have dyscalculia, which is dyslexia but for math, I said no may gusta. But, I love my copy, and I've always wanted to incorporate the map of the great waste into the Master of the Desert Nomads modules. Tell me, was that something you did, add in Grakhalia to the journey?

@@Mr_Welch I know, I was just wondering if you had a group of players that you had run through those modules after Champions came out. It's probably pretty tough to find a group of people who HAVEN'T played those modules.

@Mr_Welch One quick question. I own a copy of Return to the Keep on the Boarderlands. While it doesn't say that it's set in Mystara, it doesn't say that it isn't either. Anyway, do you think you'll do a review of that module?

@@dymnbak102 Yeah, I believe that to be true myself, but in Return to the Keep on the Boarderlands, there's a couple of references to Greyhawk too.

I'm not too good at maths, byut I wouldn't say no to your math video at some point!

More of my off-topic stuff. Mr Welch how do people learn to roleplay like a true grognard such as yourself? Youve got all this videos and know Mystara end to end. Ive been avoiding going to games for years because I didnt like 5eD&D and homebrew worlds. Im debating if I should get a reproduction Rules Cyclopedia from DriveThruRPG to add to my small collection of unused ttrpg books.

There's only one way to learn it and that's to play. You don't just become a grognard because you get older you become one because you become familiar with the rules. You start to learn all of the different tricks and tactics. You get tired of the same thing over and over again and you start playing around with the more experimental rules. You start noticing all the patterns in game design, you know where they're going to put the traps from experience. Eventually you branch into other games and the process repeats. You just play and one day you realize you're one of us

Pretty much a game breaking masterpiece. Just used every single rule as written to squeeze the maximum amount of power, offense and special abilities from the ship. It was a sloop that punched well above its weight
