Nicky, you are a pillar in the Unity scene. Thank you for all you teach us.
Expecting great things from you. Keep up the good work. All the best brother🤙
Hey Nicky, I am still working on my project. After a year of solo dev work and doing small projects along the way I think these are my short take away from it so far. 1. Do small projects that increase in scale until you finish a mini-game before taking on a larger project. 2. For the goal game, think on the high level concepts involved in each part, no so much implementation yet and take notes or use software to log them as goals. 3. Embrace your own style of development, it's scary but there is a legit best practiced way to do things, but normally don't be afraid to exercise your own methods (especially in coding) and then going back after you've gotten better to adjust things. I started posting on my progress with my project and when I am further along I'd like you to see what I've gotten up to sometime.
Let's gooo. 2023 is going to be🔥
Looking forward for the gameJam ♡ Keep up the good work
This is such a fantastic channel for learning game development. You do a great job breaking down concepts into clear, procedural parts, and your explanations are clear, precise, and concise. Looking forward to what 2023 has in store for iHeartGameDev!
Can't wait to see what you come up with this year. Love your videos! 🐱
Thanks bro for your invaluable videos. Because of you I understand the concept of state machines. 😇🙌🏻
Your channel is awesome!

Thanks!
Hi Nick! I've started watching all your animation videos and let me tell you its been eye opening. Im somewhat self taught but am taking not so relevant computer science courses in my undergrad school. I started trying to dev by watching brackeys movement and character controller tutorials but would always get like 100 hours into it and just put it down. You helping me animate my player has made moving around the world more fun! It's easier to visualize what I want when im not just a Cube/Capsule moving around lol. You've made me realize maybe instead of focusing hard in some areas, maybe i should cover a wider basis of the unity concepts :) P.S. can you please do a video sometime soon about inventory systems. All the videos i have watched havent been specifically what i wanted, or easy to grasp the concept. I dont want the code written for me but im positive with your talent at explaining concepts i would get a better idea.
Hi Nicky i love your videos, they are also full of good vibes, very friendly and approachable, i think the hardest one to learn was the state machine video. I can't wait to learn from your next videos.
Happy to see you looking well Nicky and looking forward to the tutorials next year!
Glad to have found your channel Your videos are really high quality Keep going
Keep going, love your content

Great .Thanks
i love the yoondie game engine.
I love this channel!
thank you sir
Please do a comprehensive tutorial of a fps character controller. Everything from animations, layering multiple animations at a single time like running+reload, idle+reload, etc There is also cinemachine 3, the new input system, etc
I think I found your channel at the right moment
bra your explanation is good plz post videos about big game architectures and best practices
Hey Nicky, I was wondering what book you are reading at 0:14 ? Do you have any other game dev book recommendations? I also noticed in the background you have "Cracking the Coding Interview" which is hilarious as I have the same book.
👍

Make a video on Unity ECS tutorial please 🥺
@dibaterman

ECS isn't so bad it's like the NIS from what I saw in it's learning curve. It has a ton of setup but once it is setup then the rest is what you probably were doing already except you split the cache from the methods. ECS is like that method man meme, "Yo dawg I heard you like Interfaces" because that's kind of what it went full in on.
We need mecanim tutorial please man
iCatGameDev
perhaps work also on your body technique, too snappy movements, kinda unnatrual. or dont, just make game dev videos...
Bro just wanna thank you from the deepest of my heart. Your content helped me a lot building my Final Year Project back in 2021. So just wanna thank you for that and also take it or leave it my humblest request and gift to you is this advice, 'Take a sincere and critical look into Islam' discuss it with @MohammadHijab at youtube. He is a British KZreadr. Ask him as many questions as you need on camera or off camera. But yeah no Strings attached! And again thanks a bazillion ton Nicky. May you find the true path to God. Ameen.
