Defo one of the hardest songs I’ve done - but also one of the most rewarding. Getting so deep into something so intense and so clever was really inspiring. Just so cool.

I've never heard of the band CAKE. Are they a less crazy version of black midi?

@@davidparsons97 well I don't know if most people would compare the two bands like I have, but cake is what my brain thought of when hearing this song for the first time. Cake has a couple of hits, but their an older band so I'm not sure they're on most people's radar. You might've heard their song "Short skirt long jacket". If not, I'd recommend a listen. It's a bit more radio friendly than what I've heard from black midi, but still pretty good.

If you haven’t already, could you do Hotel California?

hello! Sorry just spotted your message. If I remember correctly... yes, you are right. I remember hearing it back and realising it isn't a straight octave for that part. I think I even tabbed it correctly... then just forgot! Well done noticing it!!
