His comment on the last play was off, he wanted the WR to do a double move when it's an all out blitz (cover 0)? You don't have time for that, what's he talking about? The RB was open with a DB about 7 yards aways in the flat on the right side. In cover 0 you need a quick hitting play not a double move. He's meh with that analysis. The Eagles should have run a pick/rub play on the left side if they wanted Devonte to be wide open on a quick hitter.

Great breakdown Dan. My issue with all of this is that Hurts is being paid 250 million. He should be able to make the checks, change the protection and make the adjustments. He doesn’t show any ability to do this. Coaching is an issue but your 250 m QB needs to play like one. He’s out on that field in command when the play lock hits 15 seconds. He can make adjustments.

I think a lot of things will come to light in the off-season. It's already been rumored that Hurts tried to add some things to the playbook, but was rebuffed. He definitely made a lot of costly mistakes throughout the season, but I do think that for the offense, the coaching was the biggest problem.

Any high school in the US could score 30 points against that eagles defense... The only QB ALLLLLL year that didnt look like Joe Monatana against the eagles was Devito. So many crappy QBs had career days against the eagles

Man that first play Orlovsky broke down was pretty damning on hurts. He checked to that play on 3rd and 2. The truth is out on hurts. Good player with an unbelievable will to win. But he’s not the smartest player and has a very hard time making reads.

The blitz will screw up the best qbs if they get pressure. Look at mahomes vs the bucs d in the superbowl. When pressured, even tom looked bad.

Dude, it so obvious what happening in Philadelphia. I've worked at a lot job in my time and seen this type of management. You have a manager that is a "yes man" and upper management tries to micromanages the business. Owner Jeffrey Lurie and VP Howie Roseman are simply to involved in the day to day operations of the team. They need to take a step back hire coach who know what they are doing.

I mean some of those plays should have worked. The ball needed to be out already when the WR turned around.

I think Tampa Bay has something to prove due to the idea that Hurts appeared to be playing injured. But the eagles overall team performance still shows that eagles were trying to fly with a broken wing. Green Bay may be their real challenge.

Hurts isn’t good against pressure. He locks onto one receiver and if he’s not immediately open he’s in trouble . Try to run man zero against an Aaron rodgers , Matt Stafford , Josh Allen you are getting punished for it .

Jalen was absolutely horrid last night. He is absolutely part of the problem in Philly. He is the worst QB in NFL against pressure. And a big part of that is because he is not accurate and does not trust his arm to hit hot routes over the middle against the blitz. Thats a Hurts problem.
