Why did I watch that? Why did I enjoy that? Why is Artosis soooo afraid to attack? Why is brood war still awesome? Why is it fun at any level? The great mysteries of the universe. But I did enjoy it. Thanks falcon.

I don't have the colours and factions memorized but Orange Terran seems to be Delta Squadron (at a size of an army or army group). As an example, Delta was responsible for blockading the Sons of Korhal at Antiga Prime during the war between Terran Confederacy against the Sons of Korhal & Raynor's Raiders. The planetside army of Delta Squadron proceeded to get annihilated by Zerg swarms that were lured there by a Psi Emitter, courtesy of Mengsk. The surviving remnants of Delta Squadron were also one of the factions defending Tarsonis against Alpha Squadron (Edmund Duke's army), with Duke being persuaded to join Arcturus Mengsk after his flagship Norad II was downed and Raynor's Raiders were the only faction fast enough on the scene.

ahh yeah, I remember when I was a child, watching my brother playing the game and asking him which is the strongest, the carriers or the battlecruisers, and he answered something like "depends which I control" ^^

I enjoyed so much. "Artosis what are you doing with your M&MS, there are storms out there!" "S*** up , I will snipe templars with my wraiths." "Your what !??" Seriously, very good one !

What an interesting game to watch! Usually I try to avoid watching long game like this but after watching it, there is no regret on it especially for the opening 4-5 mins. The assimilator wall blocking Zealot attack. Wow! Never expected Artosis played that well and react so quickly. Also it was fun to watch Carriers Vs BattleCruisers. Never disappointed! Thanks Falcon for all the efforts casting it.

When in the game has a Zerg, i'm for the Zerg. When in game has an Protoss, i'm for the Protoss. So in this case the Carriers was the best Carriers fight i was watch from a very long time.

Word on the street is that you can ask for a link to a video of Scan using wraiths like a boss

I love this level of StarCraft so much. They are definitely very good, but games are so goofy: the 10 marines clump exploding to 1 scarab, the 20 workers sitting in base not mining, the group of unsieged tanks pushing in the frontline with bio sitting in the back... plus imagining Artosis raging with every fuck up he does. I love your videos Falcon, so confy.

You can't target reavers up the ramp, because you have no vision to it. The Scarab doesn't expose the source.

I did a survey and the results are in. People who regularly view Falcon Paladin content have more fun than people who only view occasionally.

If i have that kind of economic advantage i just let protoss hit "you`ve not enough minerals" when he tries to replace interceptor. I just hold position the bc and goliaths

Again, why when arty freed supply he went golaith rather than the wraiths he opened up with, he might destroyed all carriers

gotta say the marines were extra valuable, sad not to see them in many tvps nearer the modern day!

Why battery shield are not use more often ? especially with carriers. I mean a group of carriers can go to the attack with a few observers attach to then, make a lot of damage to the enemy, and when the hulls start to take some damage in front of an enormous air defense , retreat to the base where a series of battery shields fully charged, just await to transfer their energy to the wounded carriers, making then quite formidable once again. Also attach one or even a few arbiters to the carriers group, making then invisible, and if an unexpected giant army of goliaths, wraiths, Valkyries and science Wessel appear, just stasis lock them to covert your retreat. Also a few high templars, waiting and defending the pack of batterie shields could make a few illusion of sacrificial [illusion carriers], especially when you have only a few carriers, because they are so expensive and long to build. The energy of the high templar being regenerated by the time you mount a second attack.

Several mistakes from both sides. When did this match happened?

The assimilators are, paradoxically, smaller than the geysers. If you destroy the assimilators, ground units will no longer be able to squeeze between the remaining geysers, "closing the door", so to speak.

Has anyone mentioned the implementation of the empty assimilators in maps like these? Yan succeeding in killing one of them at the beginning reaaaaly affected the flow of the game.

I haven't see this kind of game the last 23 years. Pretty happy that I fast forward and not wasted one hour with below mediocre gameplay. I know that good replays are hard to find, but man, that was BORING.

Eh o estilo do Artosis, o cara nao ataca nunca, eh um porre. Muitas vezes ele ta dominando completamente o jogo mas perde pq deixa o oponente crescer a macro, ai fica com cara de cu gerando meme adoidado....

@@luansk8- Terran eh o mais dificil das tres racas. Tanto que tem apenas 1 player que joga como pro, o FlaSh. Ele é o melhor do mundo e hoje joga como Random (unico pro que consegue jogar como Random). Tem o Scan (que tem ensinado o Artosis) mas ele nao eh considerado pro (mas eh um jogador excelente). De resto eh tudo Zerg ou Protoss. Terran eh dificil pq vc tem que ter uma micro muito forte, tem que fazer o simcity muito bem, e cada erro custa muito (tbm é verdade para os Protoss, mas pros Terras junta com os outros problemas). Terran fica bom mais pro final do jogo, quando os upgrades estao em +3, mas ateh la eh sofrida a partida kkkk) Sim, a mobilidade dos tanks eh dificil, o pathing eh ruim e saber o momento de siege e unsiege eh complicado, principalmente quando tem as storms e plagues rolando no jogo. Tem que da os turtle steps com os tanques e tem que saber muito bem como defende-los. Ter uma base extra pros Protoss ou Zergs nao custa quase nada, mas pros Terrans eh muito caro, as vezes nao compensa (estilo do Artosis, por isso ele nao pega mais bases na partida e deixa o inimigo ficar sem dinheiro, eh sempre a estrategia dele... as partidas duram 50min (quando ele vence). Tem um video bom do Artosis q ele explica tudo o pq os Terrans sao a raca mais dificil de jogar do Starcraft, e eu concordo bastante com ele. A prova eh que tem apenas 1 pro como Terran.

Lol very fun game but I feel Artosis had the game since the beggining and might have won in 20 or 30 minutes instead of 50 if he played more standard

Wraith is a better unit than scout, it's cheaper and has similar dps. You can have like twice the number of wraiths for the money. Cloak + kill obs and they're super deadly.

Arto should have sacrifices the siege tanks for golaiths at the lategame

This is the kind of game where it looks like Artosis was goofing off. Spoilers below: Artosis did great stopping the protoss rush, and then Arty's first drop was spot on, after that drop it was time to build an expansion. Also he had intel at that point the toss was going reavers so why didn't he lean into his usual mech vulture play? I mean if you are gonna goof around and go bio vs protoss get some ghosts! Lockdown those reavers and shuttles! And pray the toss is bad at using storms. Mass battlecruisers is always hilarious and you're right it would have been so fun to see the toss go mass scouts to counter em.

Too bad yon was too incompetent of a protoss player to utilize scouts combined with carriers. I laugh at some of these so called "tournament players", he must have never played or won the protoss campaign missions without cheat codes.

Yon has to be the worst protoss player I have seen. His rookie mistakes even a novice wouldn't make. Such as slow build plus carriers are no good by themselves. Pair them with scouts and corsairs to take out base defenses with disruption web 🕸️ and additional air support. Didn't he play the campaign missions on broodwar? There's a reason why missions had scouts support the carriers!!! I can't believe some players are that dum dum.

@@chimingyin9904 Yeah the pros are fun too but sometimes it's good to have a break and watch some wacky stuff, scouts and nukes xD Trying to play like the pros isn't fun for me personally, I enjoy playing against the computer and against players who are as terrible as I am and not worrying too much if I am doing everything in the best way xD
