Almost heartbreaking how all the archons converged on the same point just as the EMP hit

This honestly feels like the most action packed hour plus TvP I've seen. Most long games slow down, but this game was nonstop

That was indeed an epic game. I think the outcome actually makes it more epic in a way

What an epic journey of a match, wound and weaved it’s way through so many different moments and that ending was even more exhausting than the journey itself 😂

I remember being in K-3rd grade. Anytime our assignment was to draw something you like or love. I always drew pictures of starcraft units and buildings and making little arts of space war xD

Not really. Terran can score more points if the 2 vultures keep clean up the whole toss base

What a game! I have never seen a draw!. If the protoss had made a dragoon Artosis could have used defensive matrix on the two vultures! So technically he won.

6 HT are 300 minerals, 900 gas 5 tanks are 750 minerals, 500 gas while gas is more valuable, i think it’s still a worthy sacrifice

I don't know 1,200 to 1,250 resources when ht have four hundred more gas than the tanks. It would be very close to being worth it.

This is the problem. When both party using same cheap units and strategy, it will ended up in stalemate. Protoss has Reavers, Dark Templars, Carriers, make use of it! Terrans has BC, Ghost, make use of it!!

Artosis looks like Harry Dean Stanton.

I think Artosis was the winner. Artosis could use emp and defense matrix to chip down the photon cannons hp but that would take HOURS. Nevertheless a nailbiter!

Hey Falcon, been watching you for a few years now and thought of something while watching this match, maybe you can answer it. How come we never see arbiters never stasis miners? I figure that would be a way to stop the economy. This map seems very easy to do that.

Defensive matrixed vultures and an emp would eventually win, so I think that technically Artosis wins.

im sure artosis started swearing once he lost the scv to a probe early game XD

theres a nexus on an island on the lower left. tgats why probe cant mine

actually at about 40 mins Artosis had this game in the bag but unfortunately his killer instincts drove him to attack the almost depleted mineral only base with his entire 170 psi army instead of just cutting off Nony from mining top left and defending his fresh 2 bases, allowing him to get back into the game by destroying them

This is not a draw if Artosis has his dropship (not sure if it's alive at 1 o'clock base)! He can use defensive matrix on the vultures ad infinitum to kill every single cannon on the map. The exception is island at 7 o'clock for which he needs a drop ship. Great game, although very sloppy on both sides.

8 supply = 2 scvs + 2 vults + vessel, so there is no dropship, it's a draw.

What does artosis' stream have in common with a URL address? I've never seen a URL address take a 3rd base. Also: WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Just... amazing ending!

OK so this was painful to watch for the protoss player. SPOILERS BELOW: I don't think I have ever seen a protoss go so many high templars against a terran, ever. And making archons too vs mass vultures it just made zero sense! At the very least make mass illusions of your dragoons and zealots if you are going down that road. Force the tanks to waste shots, and force the mines to blow up on nothing.

he shoulda at least made an effort, a good probe surround who knows

in theory i agree but as he notes at the end, those probes are separated on enclosure in the corner. without shuttle left to support, no surround (unless it's a surround with the 2 probes out in the field)

Could Artosis D-matrix those vultures to take the cannons?

Obviously a pro player knows a lot more than me, and I know stasis considered better, but I just don't understand why protoss players in early-game pvt don't keep a few corsairs around for casting disruption web on sieged tanks. You get practically the same capability of disabling tanks and you get it from the early-mid game rather than waiting until late game. Sure stasis lasts much longer and can't be dodged, but wouldn't SOME tank disabling for the ENTIRE game be better than NO tank disabling until LATE game when you can finally afford expensive tech? Just keep like 2-3 corsairs around until you can get stasis.

you would need to build stargate, fleet beacon and spend 200/200 in research, all are costs for no direct benefit early on, which is bad. The corsair has nothing to attack. If you attempt this and the T does a timing push on your nat/3rd, you are just dead. By the time you normally get an Arbiters, the one-time costs are less of an issue.
