We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️

That's what came to my mind after watching this video. 20 or 30 steaks would easily fit in an typical dishwasher.

Dishwasher sous vide is a thing, as is drink cooler sous vide. Just drop a bunch of vacuum packed steaks in a cooler, dump in hot water, keep topping it off as it cools. I used that method to cook 25 steaks one weekend, over the course of a few hours. I maybe dumped in 3 or 4 fresh pots of boiling water in it. Came out amazing.

This is so crazy! Two days ago I saw a clip of Vincent Price cooking fish and zucchini in a dishwasher on Johnny Carson, and of course it worked. Yeah, so this isn’t new. The show aired sometime in the 70s. 😮

No not at all. Fake...is making something up. Click-bait is showing you a big set of H00ters and then giving you a couple of Owls setting on a fence. In click-bait, both things are real. Just not what you expected. Fake is something completely fabricated. I think things are a little more intricate that you are thinking.@@probegt75

I do know from experience, you can "cook" your lunch if it is in a can or wrapped in aluminum foil on the exaust manifold of your older vehicles. Im a truck driver, and fir years hested my lunch in the turbo on the hot side of the piping. The key is make sure you put a small hole in the lid to vent. And if wrapped in foil, just set near the manifold. If not it will burn it. But if you want to prank a new guy, omit the part about the vent hole....the can will go boom. Yes its funny as you would think.

Toaster oven!!! Took a fajita skillet, cut the handle off to fit in the oven, preheated the skillet in the toaster oven @ 400 for 5 to 7 minutes. Had a relatively thin Rib Eye steak, seasoned and put on the skillet and into the toaster oven for 4 - 6 minutes, smoked the kitchen up, but sear and flavor were really good.

If you use a microwave, use the keep warm setting tell temp, turning every 5mins, searing needs good ceramic or stone, preheat stone/ceramic and place steak back on superheated plate until proper searing, reheat repeat. You'll be surprised. Now if you have a toaster oven microwave combo, the proper settings should be shown in directions, but broil will do the searing

Sous vide keeps the water at a steady ~130 degrees F and circulating to properly cook a steak. The dishwasher will heat the internal temp hot enough to turn the water to steam and practically sterilize the contents. I don't think it would turn out well.

Don't got a suesvidy or how ever you spell it but I have a food dehydrator that gets to 165 and can be set to run for days. I took a kc strip threw it in a ziplock with some spices and thru it in and let it go for 3 days. It actually worked and came out very tender. It increases the effect of dried spices like 400% so with stuff like garlic only use 1/4 what you normally would.

Watched this earlier and didn't really think about the microwave not working. Then got pissed. Some guy out there loves steak but his partner won't let him cook them in apartment cause sucky vent hood and fire alarm goes off. He goes out and spends $35-$50 on a couple of nice ribeyes and ends up w that. Alternatively, think you need to try it one more time. My microwave lets you select power rating on a timed cook. Maybe put it at 30 or 40% power for 10 to 15 minutes and see how it's doing. Had microwave that started as soon as you selected popcorn. Have to hit start on the one I have now. It's still a great video. You guys always show the human side

@sam The popcorn program on you're microwave runs, is on high power and "listens" for the popping of kernals. If it does not detect popping within a predetermined amount off time it shuts off. When actually popping corn, and the popping sounds slows down to less than 2 seconds apart the processor realizes it can not hear popping and it shuts off to avoid burning the popped corn
