Wonderful "Creative Idea" ! I had an idea for the messed up leg. Even up the blown out section and plant a piece artificial plant out of the top and side. As if the plant has escaped its prison. Ala "Little Shop of Horrors"!

Brain coral is a real type of coral! Google images and you can see what the live brain coral looks like. And you're so creative! I love this! 💖💖💖

Loved all three projects but especially the lamp. The lamp could be sold at IKEA or any home goods store. Well done!

That brain looks like candy. Want to do this so bad now. You’re so clever. Not a good day here. Needed this. My dog got into gum. It’s made with xylitol which is deadly to dogs. Run to the vet get treatment, now having to make sure to get his glucose level up and feed him lots of protein. Prayers appreciated. Love to kenobi.

A trick I learned when I was in school for woodworking and furniture design for how to cut material on the bandsaw that has weird angles.... SHIMS and tape!! It works wonders if you don’t have the original offcuts and allows for a flat/square surface and making safer cuts.

I would make candle vessels with those feet. Just hollow them out to fit a small glass jar and voila! 😍

I would like to see a white elephant style thrift flip challenge with a half dozen or so DIY KZreadrs. They could send each other items in succession so that they were allowed to send one item they received on to the next person in the chain with the stipulation that no item could be returned to the original sender. Then the viewers could pick the best flip.

😍😍😍😍😍 this was AWESOME! So much fun to watch! The first thought was yes it does look like a brain, but being a fan of coral I knew it was a facsimile of one. So my thought was to do something with seashells, ocean, or sea themed. Like something you’d find in a vacation home on the coast. Another idea 🤣😂😅😆 was to make it into a retro video game packman painted yellow eating the candy, using the cork board as a background. Yes....VERY cheesy and lame.

My Gosh my minds blown, Love, Love, Love!!! When first saw the items, I was thinking the coral piece could be a light, by cutting out the backside of the coral make it a light cover, add some kind of metal brackets to attach or sit on the light bulb, light bulb base maybe using one of the legs or maybe turning it into a pencil or paint brush holder, drill holes the size of the pencils or brush sizes. Wood resin piece attach hooks to front, hanger on back for key holder. Again absolutely Love the diy projects.

Well now I want a 3D printed coral brain thing to make an art piece like that!! So so so cool! You are always so creative, Danie and your execution of those ideas on point, even with mishaps along the way like it happens with diys but I love to see how tou figure out things in the whole process. (Others have said but I think 'Eureka' would have worked well too!)
