I was relieved that the Solomon Kane wasn’t a complete redo of the original. What a great way to use all the great art and miniatures. I found as I dug deeper into the game there were so many typos I eventually got tired of sorting it out.

Was a good one. Although I am not backing anymore and I look you stuff when I I am ready for them, I still really like them.

Just an fyi, the Solomon Kane RPG, while using a lot of the assets from the board game, is not based on it. It's an update of the 2007 Solomon Kane Savage World RPG.

So mad at solomn and kane. I preorder it on mythic. They cancelled it, but i didnt know. And then i saw minature market was selling all the expansion on clearance. So i bought all the expansions. But i never got the base. And i dont think i will now, because it so hard to find at a decent price.

I can't help but laugh at the delivery date for Solomon Kane RPG. There is a huge difference between the estimated delivery date the creator quotes and the actual date that they end up delivering it.

Seeing the solomon kane IP makes me upset, I pre-ordered the boardgame before mythic sold the IP. Customer service has just sent me through so many loops and the bottom line is I never got my game or money back.

AFAIR pledge manager (or late pledge manager?) for Caves from Archon Studio will be opened at June, now it is some kind of technical break like with other campaigns? ;)

with Kickstarter - I think just very recently some do it. So still dont know if they mean its over Backerkit, which is done for a while so yet.

So I play dnd all the time, and I have people in my game group that love adventure time but are not interested in the Rpg. Big part of Tabletop Rpg's is having a dm that can implement what's going on, giving you compelling NPC's to interact with, and throwing Monsters at the party. The people in my group don't think they can implement the world of Adventure Time, to make it feel like your actually in that setting. On the other hand they are getting the Solomon Kane Rpg.

Ah I can see this being an issue with IP games in general. It's hard to see something "new" when it's bound by the IP.

Man another big house move? good luck... Interested about Dark Blood & Zombie Horde but lets see the price... recently is going crazy high (in EU with VAT and shipping is just too expensive)

Yeah not ideal or planned to move, but good in the long run. I can film way easier now! I was surprised to see The Dead Keep with only $30 shipped to US. Not sure how it is elsewhere.

KOA would love a game about the French Revolution where you take miniatures and put their heads into the Guidone. "If that is not in the game Gosh Darn it should be.

What if the Solomon Kane RPG has the SK board game scenarios, and you have the miniatures, so the GM and players can play them out. They are loose plot points, npcs, items, summations. No, it would then not use the Mythic Battle rules. You aren't playing one of the Virtus, but I suppose you could and if the KS rpg doesn't use that concept, though I suspect it might have some, you can add rules for that. You literally are taking turns playing a single RPG character, Solomon Kane, playing the Virtues as characters. It is possible, but nor is it a normal RPG experience where you have your own characters. I suspect the SK RPG is like the latter but it makes sense, especially if they are giving you the miniatures to add the material for the Americas, African, and other core box scenarios, like Le Ogre. For those who didn't manage to get the original Mythic Battles boardgame, or pre-ordered from the Mythic Games webstore and got screwed as they never delivered the second printing, you can experience these stories, and they are more open-ended as a true RPG game. I passed on Solomon Kane original boardgame, not getting it. I regretted that and finally the 2nd printing came and I wanted it, but at the time 600+ dollars for the whole thing was a big ask, and something I could have done, but it would have drained me at the time so I passed. The original Puritan pledge plus the add on was like 210 or 220, and we'll say like 265 to 280 with shipping as this was the days BEFORE COVID when shipping subsidies were in full effect (correct me if I'm wrong and list how much the all in plus shipping first printing SK boardgame was). 2nd printing on the other hand was 600 plsus shipping probably close to 660 is three times that. I'm glad I didn't do that as, again, those people didn't get the second printing and didn't get a refund. So I dodged a major bullet. My own decisions I regreted at the time saved me from what would have been bad choices. I thank my higher self for saving me, the lower self, of their own backer boneheadedness. That said, I was waiting for Monolith to reprint the Boardgame, thinking it would be the Mythic Battles rules and game. It wasn't. I since then found a game like Solomon Kane rpg, the Invisible World 2e, on kickstarter will look into that more, but I am not passing this Solomon Kane campaign. I am getting the Vault obivously and hopefully get as many of the miniatures they can throw in there. Hopefully more Tribals (African and American) and thugs and pirates. This way I can experience the stories from the boardgame, and there are summaries of the SK books too so I can recreate those. To me, all this is new stuff so I"m so glad the did this. They also have rpg aids and tokens. Very nice. Plus the price is not 660 dollars for a game I won't actually get . I know i won't have to dodge a bullet with Monolith. Batman Season 3 is soon coming and we know King of Average has Gamerwood for that as do the rest of us who backed. KOA if you read this you know your kids will say 'daddy what is Gamerwood?' Tell them "It is when the game comes in a wooden crate.". That's your dad answer, nuff said.

I have backed 3 Gamefound campaigns already in the last 6 months (Dream Escape, Earthborne Rangers and Rome: Fate of an Empire), so for me to back another in the next 5-6 months, it has to be excellent. None of these did it for me as I found them too boring or the theme didn't resonate with me. btw, was there an update for the fundraiser and the winners, or an announcement in a video that I missed?

I don't think it is that weird that the PDF is delivered a month earlier than the printed version. Also it's Batman that got an RPG from Monolith, not Mythic Battles.

World of Kilforth launched which is the last reprint of their games for awhile.

While Zombie Horde did look interesting (especially the base building phase), the campaign was out at the same time as the Dying Light by Glass Cannon Unplugged, which, let's be honest, had much better production value, and that's on top of its IP. Can't remember for certain, but I believe there were many other good campaigns available as well, so I guess that may have been the main reason it was overlooked.

Koa, before advertising for the people doing the secret world rpg, you should take a look if you get a chance at their first campaign for the 5E system. The way they advertised their pledges was so deceiving, even I thought I was getting the book printed for my pledge, but as you'll see in the comments, that's not what they did.

What about Wonders of the First coverage. A lot of shadiness there. First Kickstarter removed due to NFTs and had to relaunch. All AI art. Hit 800k day 1 and then nothing. Creator reporting all comments that are critical. Community harassing and doxing BGG owner. Seems like something you'd normally chime in on.

Secret World was the best disappointment I've ever had.
