"Yoda" is Weird Al's "Stairway to Heaven" or "Bohemian Rhapsody."
This tour was incredible. The one before this was just a lot of Weird Al songs with videos of his funny interviews in between. It wasn't that good because I've heard all those songs... but this last tour was the best. They said they wouldn't be playing any parody songs, only original Weird Al songs... And then they surprised everyone by doing this hilarious medley of a tong of the parody songs converted to the wrong genre. Lots of talent required to go through all those styles in a row. Oh yeah, and the guest appearance by Emo Philips was great too.
I was at this tour last night! I was like "I have GOT to find that chant they did during Yoda!!! that was so cool!!!"
I'm a huge fan but I live in Argentina. This year I got the chance to travel to San Francisco and he was playing just the day before of my return flight! I didn't doubt it and went to see him, for me it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. This medley came to me as a complete surprise, I enjoyed it so much! It made me laugh and feel so lucky to be witnessing these amazing artists in front of me. Thank you for uploading this video, I really wanted to see it again! 💕

@@laura.laqueborda Te envidio horrores.

I was lucky enough to see this live at Graceland (Memphis) last night. The chant sure surprised the folks that didn’t know Weird Al!

He’s been doing this for 30 years, and it’s evolved over time, at first I think he was out of his mind, now he’s a grade A genius

been a fan since I was 5, when my cousin played In 3D for me when it first came out. finally got to see Al Live recently and it was a marvelous experience
Thank you very much for this. I was there - and I'm still blown away at what he did with his band at 4:30 in! Holy cow, how much they must have rehearsed this in advance!

Well this is actually a returning tour, Al started this tour in 2018 and then in 2019 decided to put it on hold and go on the Strings Attached Tour, the Covid hit and everything stopped, and now he’s back on the Vanity Tour

Weird Al's been doing the Yoda Chant for decades, and parts of it - the very beginning, very end, and "LA LA LA, NICE LADY!!" - have been part of it pretty much the whole time. It's still great how other parts of it have evolved over time, and it's really impressive how in sync everyone is, especially given the whole thing's a cappella.
I was there on june 18th he was awesome he performed songs I didn't know and some I know. I loved this tour
Always one of my favorite parts of his performances. So great. But it's the only one I can't really sing along with.
When I went to Like this video and saw that there were 27 Likes already, I considered leaving it alone so as not to mess that up. But I thought, nah, someone else would just mess it up anyway.
What was the other encore number that night?
Why were they sitting down?

From the tour description: "This is a scaled-down tour with limited production (no costumes, props, or video screens) in smaller theatres and more intimate settings, and Al’s setlist will be comprised almost entirely of his original (non-parody) songs." So it's just him and the band playing his tunes, no video montages, no costumes. It was a great show!
Going in, did they check vaccine cards?

I'm attending his concert on Friday, and the venue now says that at the request of the tour, they won't be checking vaccine cards. So that might be an indication it won't happen at other venues either.
Looks like a mighty boosh crimp to me
