    Please Trisha, hire someone to help you plan meals. Make it clear to them that you have a disorder and ask them to help you plan meals that work for you. There are ways to eat healthy without depriving yourself (or feeling deprived). Many people have issues with food, many people have binge eating, nutrition has come along way. Try hiring someone, you can always fire them later if you don't think it helps but I think you will be surprised.

    As someone with an eating disorder going to nutritionists can be super triggering in general especially since some aren’t good at their jobs. They don’t take your requests into account they just go with what they know and force it onto you.

    Also a subscription like hello fresh would be great for them. I’m a overeater and have an addiction to fast food, and HelloFresh made a huge difference. Plus it would be nice content for Trisha to record herself making the food and possibly even get a sponsorship (doubt it)

    It really depends on the person, for example Trisha is an over eater & doesn’t have control with how much she eats. When they buy those items they can’t help but eat the whole thing. So the first step for them would be removing it all and then slowly add it back in when they can control how much they eat.

    You CANNOT expect to lose that much weight in only a week. Usually, people recommend a 500 calorie deficit. Say for example you were to exercise off 500 calories (every day) which adds up to 7000 calories lost a week. It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound of fat, so only 2 pounds a week! You should NOT expect to lose 14 or more (14 is already a lot and probably due to water weight). Please be realistic with your expectations, especially if you want to do this healthily and sharing on a large platform! I wish you the best, but please be realistic

I did drink about 1.5l before bed because I rushed it in to get my daily 2l of water in can that affect the scales? I don't see one day of eating this as putting on weight.

  • @Nonyah123

    @Nonyah123

    @@snowyriver2218 Only weigh yourself once a week. Your calorie intake will depend on how tall you are, but for women it's recommended to eat between 1200-1500 calories a day, and burn 500 calories through workout a day. Over one week, you will have burned 7000 calories, or two pounds of fat. It takes about an hour to burn 500 calories through medium intensity workout (depending on weight), so you would have to workout for an additional hour every single day to lose 3 pounds. I don't recommend this though, it can leave you very hungry and have you end up overeating. Keep drinking 1.5-2.5 litres of water a day, and weigh yourself once a week, in the morning. Some weeks you may lose more or less weight, but as long as you're consistent, you'll be good. Make sure you aren't overestimating your calories either! Measure out your food for a week to make sure you're eating a proper serving, and try to replace sugary cereals with a slow release food like oatmeal. Good luck!

    @@snowyriver2218 I can't say if it is realistic or not because it is different for everyone. The important thing is that it should be sustainable so make sure to listen to your body and adjust things (ie don't do anything too extreme or it will set yourself for failure). :) Different foods do make you retain more water (like foods high in sodium). I also think exercising does make you retain more water too (but fact check that lol). Any fluctuations you get day to day will 100% be from water weight and not fat (these fluctuations can be a couple pounds or even more). So don't worry about it! To put it simply, all you need to do is be in a deficit and you will lose fat regardless of the types of foods you're eating or water weight. It might be worth weighing yourself less frequently to have a better track of progress. Hope that helps!

Weighing yourself daily will just result to the possibility of getting an eating disorder/ unhealthy obsession over numbers. I think taking before and after photos is a mentally healthier way to see change. Take plenty of rest days because that is when your body progresses. Forget diets, waist trainers, juice cleanses, intermittent fasting etc. What you do and eat everyday should be sustainable for the rest of your life. Never eating chocolate again? Not sustainable! I lost 90 lbs over time with some fluctuations. I lost that weight and kept it off doing MANY things that people don’t recommend. Nothing unhealthy, to be clear. But I eat larger meals twice a day, very late as an example. I don’t think anyone out there is suggesting that. Yes!! It took me about a year and half, but I lost a little over 70 lbs. First 30 was mostly eating junk food, but calorie counting. After that I did start working out at a gym, but still didn't eat the best. Just made sure to create a calorie deficit. I was able to get my blood pressure and cholesterol down that way as well. Everybody just has to find what works for them best!!

    3 hours of cardio a day is not sustainable and honestly not super effective for fat loss. You should be doing like 30 minutes of cardio a day and weight training a few times a week

  • @nobody-ft7vg

    @nobody-ft7vg

    exactly!! and even with the cardio 25 of those 30 should just be walking and the 5 should be either jogging or jumping rope or jumping jacks or some kind of dynamic stretching. anyone 100lbs over a decent weight for their height (or idk what her end goal is and i know ppl hate bmi but im assuming she doesnt want a lot of muscle so just using it as a light guide here) shouldnt be jumping in the deep end with full blown running and multiple hours of cardio when their body simply cant take it and they wont want to ever do it again. walking is a great way for obese people (or anybody that hasnt worked out in months/years) to get their bodies used to moving and other stuff becomes easier. but the secret to burning fat isnt cardio at all its weights which im so glad you brought up. im disappointed in her when she really could show a lot of her followers who have the same body/health struggles how to successfully achieve a weight that makes them feel healthier/stronger/etc. its not about before and after photos or bikini pics on insta. for a lot of ppl its just getting up the stairs without feeling out of breath or not waking up in the night afraid of getting a comorbidity.

    I don't know about this. I remember reading a study on weight loss where they looked at people who had effectively lost weight, and one of the common denominators was that the people that were successful were setting realistic goals. There was one guy who's goal was literally to "flop around on the couch for ten minutes." And because their goals were so low and attainable it gave them the positive feedback loop needed to start a habit. It's something alcoholics also practice. Rather than saying "I'm never going to drink again" they say "I'm not going to drink for one hour". If it's more attainable for her to walk for two hours rather than run for 45 minutes I think that's a good goal to set.

    Notice how she doesn't show you what she ate or any exercise lol. Trisha has done this a million times. She does water fasting for a couple days and drops a bunch of water weight and maybe a couple pounds beyond that. But then she goes right back to her old eating habits because that's not sustainable. Also notice how she pulls her shorts down to make it look super different 😆

    Intermittent fasting is not the same as purging or starving yourself as is the case in eating disorders. Intermittent fasting is safe for the vast majority of people, it has health benefits, and it is the only way many people can lose weight because it helps so much with reducing hunger and cravings. Also, if you think everyone can just “control” what they eat when they do, you are very unfamiliar with food addiction.
