खूप छान माहिती मिळाली. मनापासून thanks. मी सुद्धा new mom आहे. Weight कमी करायचे आहे प्रयत्न चालू आहे. मुख्य म्हणजे पोट कमी होत नाही तरी तुमची या विषयावर माहिती ऐकायला आणि तुम्हाला बघायला खूप आवडेल.

I totally agree with you! Your diet is totally acceptable and great to lose weight. Coz if for some people with low metabolic rate, only exercise may not work. Diet kind of plays 80% role in losing weight or say getting blood sugars or thyroid or pcos or that stubborn postpartum weight under control!

This is all fine. All the tips you provided for weight loss postpartum are good in terms of food. But you have not talked about exercise at all. I am sure even though you said you have limitations, some sort of exercise has played a major role in your journey and it should have been given enough credit. In India, women do not provide enough attention to physical training and keep on relying on portion control and walking etc. I feel you should do a video focusing only on physical training and its advantages.

Yes, please make a video. I have delivered twins and it was c section. I was able to loose the weight but not the belly fat. Also i am diabetic, so it would be helpful if you could make the video to loose belly fat. TIA

Off course Urmila. Would love to hear it from you. Diastisis recti is another challenge. I am grateful to my body and God ki c section mule mala majha baby milala. Jithe Kahi karnamule normal shakya nahi tithe c section he hi ek vardan ch aahe. But this c section gave me that ugly hanging mommy pooch, it is so hard to come in terms with that along with diastisis recti. I am having hard time accepting that, literally breaks me each time I look myself in the mirror. Rather I don't want to accept and work on it and will eventually when the time is right. But toparyant it is heartbreaking.

Nyssaji, I don’t mean to contradict you but having had a C-section myself, these days that incision sits way low on your tummy like so low that it would not show in a bikini. So very unlikely that caused you diastasis recti, it’s most likely the pregnancy that causes it. If you stretch that muscle so much it splits, and though this is oversimplification of that condition that’s what I can say in one sentence. The best treatment is going for physical therapy with a knowledgeable professional. All the best, and these are really remnants that women bear for growing a whole human being for nine months.

@@2008aa6 I totally agree with you. Diastisis recti is an outcome of pregnancy not cesarean. May be my comment contradicted. Any pregnant woman can have it. I need to work on both diastisis recti and hanging mommy pooch. And you are right, physical therapy is the best way to deal with. I do appreciate your response in explaining things positively. Thank you dear :)

Thank you for such detailed and honest video. I have question though, most of the doctor, lacation consultant, pediatricians ask to continue breastfeeding at least for one year, and even WHO recommends to continue for 2 years and beyond if possible. Then why did you stop breastfeeding at such a early stage ?

Because I was an exclusive pumping mother and there was a very little milk supply which was generating after 7 months. I didn’t stop by choice, my baby had latching issues hence pumping and pumping can lead to low milk supply. Hence my baby got bigger with that he demanded high intake. He showed high interest in solid food hence the shift from milk to solid food was very much smooth.

Very nice information, 2 things metioned by urmila tai. Were also, and still part of lifestyle are calorie defeciet and food replacement, i also followed same things during my weight loss journey. When i reduced 20 kg. Healthy. Eating is key. Food plays very imp role
