The rest of the chapters are extras, though I wouldn't mind having another season where they show these boys as cultivation partners and partners in life, but I'll probably die from fangirling heart attack before it ends.

With Lan WangJi, I understand what the meaning of "Love is more than a word" He still waiting for Wei WuXian no matter what, get punishment, blame, broke the rules, does'nt care about he's reputation. Searching Wei WuXian's soul, and keep believe if all of that tragedy is not Wei WuXian's fault. No matter how Wei WuXian still can not understand Lan WangJi's feeling, but he trying to keep Wei WuXian safe. Lan WangJi have a pure love, warm heart and sad story. That drama (The Untamed), donghua, manhua and especially the novel (MDZS), i still can't move on until now💜

Xiao Zhan brings life to the character. XZ has a beautiful smile, His laughs and giggles makes you smile . He's charisma connects us "the viewers" . Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo has an awesome chemistry . This drama is Highly Recommended...Thanks for sharing.

Don't forget Wang Yibo's acting is amazing too! Its just that the way they express their acting is different. Wang Yibo's character is hard to act too, while being cold and expressionless, he has to be able to show Lan Zhan's emotions and attitude through his eyes and very detailed small changes in expressions. He cannot be as open as Xiao Zhan, and must be alert and controlled, in character at all times, in how he does his body language and says his words.

Wow! Even though I know that this isn't an original OST of MDZS it still feels like something LWJ would sing for WWX while he was waiting for 16yrs.

I think apart from great drama plot, director and filming crew, the BIGGEST AND MAIN reason why this is SUCH an amazing drama is the main 2 characters, and their irreplaceable chemistry!! Many focus on XZ and say how Xiao Zhan's acting is amazing, but pls don't forget Wang Yibo's acting is amazing too! Its just that the way they express their acting is different. Wang Yibo's character is hard to act too, bc while being cold and expressionless, he has to be able to show Lan Zhan's emotions and attitude through his eyes and very detailed small changes in expressions. He cannot be as open as Xiao Zhan, and must be alert and controlled, in character at all times, in how he does his body language and says his words. I love his eye gaze and smirk/smiles to Wei WuXian, and the change 16 years ago and after is amazing (so is Xiao Zhan too, he shows the free child before and sad soul after, but happy w Lan Zhan still).

@ Sherena ng, I totally agreed​ with you, to play Lan Zhan role is not replacible I don't​think just anybody can do but acting as Weiying​ was not that hard I still have some feeling​ that Xiao Zhan was a little over acting, too much cheerful, but... please don't​ get me​ wrong​ I didn't​ say Xiao Zhan is not good his bright eyes and beautiful​ smile​ are so natural and.. as a real person ( as himself). The chemistry between​ them​ was the reason​that made this​ series​memorable and irreplacible. Until ​now I still keep​ watching so addicted.

There were so many different sides to Wei Wuxian, Xiao Zhan showed so many different emotions in that role and overall W W's character was so unique that I truly doubt any other actor would have been able to play that character quite as well as Xiao Zhan did. As for what you saw as overacting in the cheerful parts, that kind of acting is pretty usual for the Asian comedic genre, just in this case it's done better than most.

their love is so romantic. not all love needs to be physical or sexual. just from how they look at each other, their tears, their smiles, and being there for each other, that's all they need. storyline is amazing. good acting. amazing chemistry. worth watching all the 50 episodes on Netflix. highly recommended.

Well ... this "just bromance" in the show exists due to the chinese homophobic censorship though. In the novel they are a *full* romantic couple ... body and soul. Cuz ... homosexual people deserve to be able to consume their love with their chosen partners and not just lead the live of an impotent/castrate. They are people with needs and desires, not just spiritual beings. The non-physical love is for family and friends, not romantic couples.

It is an emotional roller coaster. An addiction I still crave but know I can't bear to watch it again yet. I read the book after and had to skip over sections like coffin town's empathy because its too painful still. Its the first show i've ever seen where my mind immediately wanted to erase itself and watch the whole thing over again for the first time. Like a little kid getting off a thrill ride yelling "Again! Again!" I'm glad I got to see it.

@@renuka2030 you can always get a imaginary or gohs boyfriend, girlfriend, or love. that way you have the feeling and the love. or something like a fae, most of such are like that as their normal. however what such love means is not to have a one set affection to one person but instead to be open as equals and to only care about the things you truly care bout, the things that are important to you. humans in general care more about the things they do not care about than they care about the things they care about, and to them love is a form of ownership and inequality. they lack actual respect and openness to the other(s) themselves, the world and all things, and their feelings. while those who have it and are open and equal can communicate without using words, or without using direct words and meanings, at least about the truest things. however when you talk about love, I do not believe that most people actually feel love anymore, and I can not feel the human definition of love, for me love is more like this fae version of love where it this trust and equality and oppennes in the form of this thing that can only be felt.

I say,.. once I saw millions of views and thousands of likes about the untamed.., and everyone commented praising the drama., I just thought to start watching it..,, but after knowing that it's a BL.., I was horrified that even those type of dramas would exist.., trust me, I just ignored it for some days..., even after it., I just decided to try it.., but I was unable to find it in youtube, and they even asked subscription.., I've lost my full hope on it..., but after some days I've found dramacool and sarted watching it.., at first I've confused and after knowing Wei Wuxian's flashback.., and Lan Wangji's ignorance I'm slowly interested and involved.., and deeply fell in love with it.., I've just completed it overnight...,, and again watched it and again and agian..,, now, whenever I want to watch any other dramas I'm just uninterested and come back to the untamed..,, I've just completed the Word of Honour..,, now,.. I just can't let go of them..,, Oh God..,,, this is called ADDICTION I think😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Wei Ying expressed everything. His love , hatred or every emotions but Lan Zhan never show anything . He kept everything to his heart. How difficult his character is.

This is an unforgetable drama. Been a year since i watched it, but I still cant get this intense lingering emotion from watching them! I actually dont watch many dramas bcoz of lack of interest, but this one I cant skip nor forget. I still feel heartache everytime I remember Lan Zhan being punished and kept missing Wei Ying. Omo.. 😭

All casts were very good actors, XZ and Yibo were great! Although, the book plotted them as such, I see it a good friendship on and off the camera. Yibo and XZ have a pure heart, good brotherly bond where they're comfortable with each other. It is unfortunate that on their real life there are people with malicious minds tinted a good friendship with their twisted interpretations just because they're both male. What they are and how they are were the reasons I admired, followed and loved them more, not just for their looks. Pure love for best friends should not see the color, sexual, and familial orientation of the person. Be comfortable, be yourself! Count your blessings if you have such kind of friendship!

I love CQL so much! I watch and reread it over and over again! The most painful thing that happened is in the novel. Lan Zhan only heard that his Wei Ying died. He never even saw him for the last time. Despite being bed ridden he still went to Burial Mounds and all he saw is A-Yuan, there's not even a wisp of his Wei Ying's remains or soul. Just imagine the kind of pain he was in, even Lan Qiren did not punish him for that and let A-Yuan stay in Gusu /cries in WangXian

Yes, very painful indeed. The novel has made me several sleepless nights due to heartache, La Zhan's was so unbearable and thankfully Wei Ying was back.

Such a masterpiece. I would of love for them to end in a kiss but censorship. I am still crying rivers, love like this rarely comes.

Solo para felicitar a todo el equipo de ésta producción, supieron seleccionar a los actores correctos, cómo el caso de mi bb hermoso Xiao Zhan y de Wang Yibo. La fabulosa química que tuvieron; el acierto de dejarlos interactuar y hasta cierto punto separarlos en las grabaciones, logrando que Xiao y Wang se acercaran más, dando más profundidad a sus personajes. Lograron una exelente serie, que hasta la fecha, y por mucho tiempo más, estará en el gusto de la gente. Ojalá hicieran una segunda temporada, nos dejaron con ganas de seguir viendo cómo evolucionó ésta relación. I am so impressed with the production. The costume is super amazing especially the black+red of Wei Ying's. The cinematography is beautiful and stunning especially the Lotus Pier. Zhan Ge is so perfect for Wei Ying's role. I was surprised to have found out that Yi Bo was denied the role twice until the casting manager met him in person. The movie's success also because of the BTS clips showing the chemistry in real life between Bo+Zhan. I know that I enjoy them as much as the movie itself.

If you want to hear an old version of this song,you can type endless love sang by jackie chan . He sang with a korean singer but i forgot her nama. The rythim is same just the lyric is not same. It was a mix between chinese and korean song. That version sound so sad for me. You guys should try

Why does it have to be so sad? I just can't stand watching them in pain. Lan Zhan went through so much pain all alone looking for his soulmate. It just breaks my heart again and again. Worst part of the drama is the ending. They literally part their ways which breaks my heart. Thanks to Novel that made me happy (revealing that they are together forever) and the special edition also did not show their parting ways!

@@xiochijeon8131 yeah but that is according to the novel.. In the show, it was like both go in opposite direction.. We have to just assume that both became together when lan zhan calls wei.. It is just like suspense and everytime I see that last moment, I feel goosebumps at the same time sadness..
