WEHR (Luftwaffe) Build Order - Company of Heroes 3
Ойындар
In this video I explain one build order that you can do for the Wehrmacht faction in Company of Heroes 3. Specifically using the Luftwaffe battlegroup.

I am once again rewarded for staying up till 2 am. keep em coming!
Thanks for these, especially helpful to know the tech upgrades. I have been dominating 2v2-4v4 with them.
I’ve been using this build order to great effect today, always helpful to get your insight, Hans

Pretty much what I have been playing for some time now. Currently on 70% winrate.
I just built my PC, I'm about to try COH 3 in the incoming days. Let's do one together Hans ;)
Nice insight on my fav stat so far. I can improve a little! thank you so much for your great content! :) keep it up. sadly I never catch u live :/
1:00 plan with airdrop often ruined by enemy MG 4:30 if you're playing against states, few bazooka squads on flank will destroy tanks pretty quickly
how do you feel about recoilless dropped weapon?
Have you tried using the fallshirm pioneer units as main line infantry?

I have tried this and found success in team games. Fall pios seem soooo much stronger in firefights than grens, and satchel charges can delete entrenched positions and remove entire buildings from the map. MGs don't have enough time to retreat from buildings if a satchel charge is placed on the exit door, unless your opponent reacts before the satchel is thrown. They can also be hidden in smoke when opponents are trying to smoke/cap VPs. The only downside to fall pios is not having a panzerfaust like grens. This makes them susceptible to early game light vehicle spam, and give them virtually no utility against vehicles late game. Fall Jagers are absolutely amazing if you want to skip luftewaffe tech and greed straight into p4s. With mines from Fall pios and panzerfausts from Fall Jager, it can be enough to deal with light vehicles. If you Fall behind early though and skip luffewaffe kompanie you will absolutely get obliterated by allied vehicles long before you ever reach a p4. I have had limited success I'm 1v1 using fall pios into fall jagers as my only infantry. Good allied players have actually snowballed me out of the game using this tactic though, primarily because American rifles with BARs and brit line infantry can just obliterate you
If you go for breakthrough doctrine I really liked grenadiers with assault packs really nice especially against low/mid tier infantry. Only tried them for couple matches though. Ive seen so much luftwaffe and airborne in previous CoHs that I rarely want to pick them xD

Honestly I think assault grens are the ONLY viable option other than luftewaffe doctrine. Without assault packages grens lose to basically everything. And keep in mind brit infantry section is 260 manpower up front while grens are 270.... Wehr doctrines absolutely need a balance pass because several of them don't seem viable at all, unless you are willing to give away early game completely, and in my experience that will lead to many losses.
why should I build second regular pioneers?
The video description says DAK instead of WEHR ;)
I don't understand the point in dropping your parachutists on a fuel objective that is not yet linked to your base by the chain of supplies system in the game. Isn't it more efficient to go directly for a victory one? Cause by the time you make the junction, your opponent might already be contesting the fuel objective and thus all this time you won't get any benefit from it.

Youre stopping them from getting fuel when you drop them on a point.

The point is to save your closer points for an upgraded Kettencrad. Those points are more easily defended, and by taking the middle of the map you do delay your own resource gain, but you can force the opponent to fight over it while you re-coup your resources later on with upgraded ketten. It can definitely backfire though because if you are forced to retreat the map is wide open for the opponent, and all the while you haven't even capped resources on your own side. When it works, it pays off big. When it fails, you can get snowballed out of the game very early on
Hi I play Allies and by no means a pro, however I’ve been crushing this build on the latter. As soon as I see the plan I know what I’m up against and where they are. I get out a engineer, rifle men and a Jeep and aggressively push them off. Then I fallow up with an MG to hold off there counter attack and hold out till I get a m16 quad. At this point half the time they just rage quit and try there cheese on someone else lol

US can definitely bully luftewaffe fall pios off the map. But calling it a cheese strategy? Idk man... the emplacement spam was definitely cheese, but calling in paratroopers to scoop up map control early is not cheese....

"cheese" Wehr doesn't have any other viable units, did you watch the video?
Sorry dude, just have to point out that the Brummbär's "bär" ist pronounced "bear (in mind)". Didn't want to point it out but you said it like 7 times in 20 seconds (09:08) so my OCD kinda thing just made me do it ;(

Someone should write this down!! :)
When both axis faction skip their basic infantry in favour of pioneers... wtf. And I bet they'll never think about buffing core infantry, but nerf pios instead xD
Slow down dude
