Mines have a few downsides: friendly fire, weakened combatants while setting, engis out of combat, micro tax, and munis that can be used for upgrades or call-ins. I find mines work best on an apparent advantage, where as a single mine play may cause you a wipe if in a tug of war, and lose the game. Or, even when they hit, it's at a time you cannot capitalize, diminishing their return vs a flamethrower or armor on your m8, or turning a 250 into a mortar ht. Instead of 4 isolated mines going off where you can't capitalize, you could have a powerful call-in that establishes much more attrition or territory. Optimal mine play can be really good, but is extremely risky. I've lost so many pios I shift clicked wrong after setting mines, or got blown up as soon as they set them and ate a rifle grenade from FoW.

This was a great game to watch. Thanks for the cast.

Is the game active on console? I know rts games usually aren’t that crazy for console editions.

@@franciscocardenas4774 not really, I spend at least 70% of my time on the game just doing coop or private sessions against AI It usually takes around 4-11 minutes to get into a multiplayer match depending on the mode you choose. The problem would be easily solved if they added cross play between Playstation and Xbox

37:00 Have not finished the full match so not sure if it is known, but ARAD gives both reload and I believe accuracy bonus to friendly vehicles while in recon mode. How does this translate in the game? He is turning the AA guns into modern-day CIWIS.

He didn't have it in recon mode. In recon mode they don't shoot. As far as I know. and there is an icon for it too.

Chaffee squad frontal dive with flanking speed trait and with the initial smoke cover could end that DAK light vehicle rampage. Hellcats was a wrong choice.

Felt bad for the DAK player. His definitely deserved and probably would have got the win if his tm didn't crash.

Kind of funny at one point. One guy has AT infantry only which gets pinned and the opponent has anti infantry only 22:45 Also some back and forth comedy: 31:55 You should not play a long range duel with marders :D

I only play DAK, 1v1 is super hard but in team games you can do some good support. I feel Allies players take way more risks and do crazy dives.

Hans Brits need some substantial buffs to make them competitive again. Whats do you think they need?

To be honest. Chaffey spam will win this, there was OP rangers spam which is work too. But so sad abt DAK lose

The reply system seems so hard to navigate and confusing to use and view what you want

Grants are much stronger against marder spam than Matildas. They kill the marders much quicker and have speed to close and escape much better. The extra armour of the matildas isn't much use against tungsten marders so I'd much rather have the speed and firepower.

I wonder if more people are going to abuse the fact that HMGs and Motars work in 250s.

You can get in the 250 but it wont fire. Tried it didnt seem to set up and start firing.

So let me get this right. One faction can: Self heal all tanks, not only itself but 80% of the infantry can also repair, self cap, smoke, make all tanks cheaper, starts with best light units, that can be upgraded to stay relevant…. I see why it’s so easy to play axis and why they sit in a que for so long each game 😂 Mickey Mouse game 😂

Yeah, I play Wehrmacht lately and it is really horrible to wait 2-5 minutes for a match.

250 are waaaaay to oppressive early game. Needs an early game nerf tbh to small arms. Also why doesn’t US AA suppress when Axis versions do? Makes absolutely no sense. Just bias for no reason 😂

judging by your comments, you've lost quite a few games as US and now you are blaming the game. FYI , I get my ass kicked as wehr anytime by US. I am not going to blame the game though, I'll just try harder next time.

@@irvingwashington3771 no not at all. Please compare all instant starting light vehicles. The 250 is significantly the standard out unit. That’s why everyone is spamming them with a flamer. In CoH2 only the sob could spam a light vehicle with a flamer. That vehicle was very fragile and had to be properly micro’d. This isn’t the case for a 250 in current patch. Dingo and 1/4 truck you have to attack with micro. Not with a 250. Just run that fucker into a group of units at the 2 min mark and you know they literally can’t have snares yet. Lmao not bias, just a fact pal!

For crying out loud .. whats with the jerky movements? You also zoomed in which worsened things
