Honestly, somebody will need to help me understand why the fuck they haven't just released a new Shinola volume every year. They have **SO MANY** awesome 'unreleased' gems that could be fluffed-up and compiled onto a new volume annually.... fans would EAT IT UP happily, and it would make the band some steady $$ every year. I dig the selections you made on here, although it's fairly Caeser-heavy. The demos from La Cucaracha are pretty fantastic. Every album has had wonderful unreleased golden gems that deserve better treatment, from the Long Beach material to Pod outtakes and WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE they have tucked away. Does It Turn You On, If You Love Me, Feed The Fire, Dirty Money, Weed Whore, Devil's Dick, The Concert Is Over, Pay The Pig, The Wolfman, Got No Darkside, I Still Love You, Cornbread Red, Shalom Absolom, Enabler, Witches Tit, Ambrosia f'ing Parsley... god the list is endless. A new volume every year. EASY F*CKING MONEY for them. Do it. Just bloody get on it. Nobody's getting younger.

It's logical why there is no Shinola ii. Shinola was putting the songs they wished/wanted to have on an album but didn't. They did it. There cannot be a Shinola ii in that case

I'm gonna just start dropping a comment every time I come back and leave any thoughts. okay, so i love all the tracks on here, as I'm sure most of us do, but how the hell did "She'll just get you" get left off the albums, it such a funky smooth song, it's so polished and complete. how the hell have they not released it! come one! Also if anyone has any weeny vinyls for sale hmu, but don't waste my time if the vinyl is a plain pressing lol

good god, why can't they just release shinola vol 2 and make it this collection. It s so diverse and fun, but there enough self reflection and carefully played ballads that it carries this energy like "wow, so weve come this far..." The main vein particularly makes me feel this. Its like a hunter crossing the mountain and seeing the first glimpse of his home.

It's definitely one that shines... But it's not underrated in the ween community... It's up there with any stallion song divisible by 2 The argus is much too highly rated for it's counter to be under rated.... We've all rated it, and every week fan is gonna run across it, and I've never seen anywhere in the literature of it being dismissed... Of course... This is music we are disagreeing on, not slavery or systemic discrimination, so I respect you opinion.. Maybe I'm just insulted by your comment.. and times change... I could be wrong in that 10 years ago it was underrated.. Or that the moist Boyz were underrated, or the meadow, or Oh, I know... Hold on, I have to find it, it's in the 'in the garden, the rift, the meadow,.. "

It just keeps driving forward but has the funk underneath. Great jam at max volume, especially Deaner on the fade out.

Kim stolz used to be "the" under rated song.... Back in 1998-2000 era... Man- ween radio.. I'll miss you I'd love to see a list of how all the underrated songs have progress as the ween timeline has progressed... Because obscure gems in certain years can now be discussed with strangers on the bus... 🚌

Kim Smoltz is the most gemmy of hidden gems.

I have this theory that they purposefully don’t release a lot of their stuff so that you have to go see them live to hear it 😆 same thing with why they’ve got so many scuffed production versions of songs then the live sounds absolutely fire
