thank you - the core of the background are some FM chords on one channel then later I just tried to use a little touch of every different kind of basic waveform in the M8 wavsynth

thanks! I program all the melodies in all my tunes though i do want to mess around with midi on the M8 eventually - come from a guitar background before I made tracker music so maybe there is a bit of similarity in the phrasing to how I (wish) I could play guitar
