Great video Roy I’ve been meaning to comment for a while now. Oh nooooo I just brought Overdrive 😬🤣😆 at the weekend, lucky it was a cheap pick up. I used to watch so many John Wayne films with my Dad back in the day, I’ve sent him a link as I wasn’t sure if we have seen this one. Nice varied watches Roy, nice hat too 😆 ooh there are a few films that use the floodlights to mask a sniper…. Last Boy Scout springs to mind but that wasn’t a SWAT team using the lights (they were shooting the sniper hiding by the lights)… sounds like you go through your paces on a Tuesday Roy (as long as it’s doing you good, keep it up) agreed Fierce Creatures is a completely different kettle of fish to A Fish Called Wanda (pun not intended) take care mate👍😃👍

Hi Roy. Funny, I have seen Swat and just thought it ok but it is probably one of the movies I see most often when I’m out in thrift stores…..But yes, Two Minute Warning, the film you possibly referenced, is a terrific one. Black Sunday too has similar excitement.….I love Someone to Watch Over Me and saw it at the cinema. I love how it’s lit and enjoy Berenger, Bracco and Rogers. Andreas Katsulas great villainous performance “If you ever see me again, you never saw me before”….I also love Rio Bravo, one of my most watched Wayne westerns. If you haven’t seen it, also consider El Dorado which is also by Hawks and with Wayne but co stars Robert Mitchum and James Caan. Similar format to Rio Bravo but another great one

Hello Neil I really need to get a copy of Black Sunday. I saw it years ago and Bruce Dern was fantastic in it. Someone else on here told me Bracco was in The Sopranos. I have them on dvd but never watched it. I must get on that. El Dorado is one I got recently so ill push it up my list.

Great watches Roy, I think someone has already mentioned Two minute warning as the film you are thinking about, excellent film, I also enjoy SWAT, one of the better switch your brain off movies. Don't think i have seen Someone to watch over me, will put that on my list as i think i will like it. Rio Bravo is a great western but then i do enjoy John Wayne, Dean Martin is in another Wayne film playing his brother called The son's of Kate Elder which is another great western.

Some great watches there Roy! Someone to Watch Over Me really won me over for some reason, I loved it, (great noir soundtrack to it as well), but I think I'm definitely in the minority and like yourself most people thought it was decent but more on the average side. That's a great perfect coincidence needing a relaxing easy watch, and then choosing Hou Hsiao Hsien! I was also really pleasantly surprised by it, a very sweet and engaging watch. I can highly recommend The Green, Green Grass of Home for next Tuesday as it's in much the same vein. I've still got the last one to watch from that set but just saving it for a day when I need a nice one! Rio Bravo has been on my list for a long time, but I'll need to get to it before long as it sounds fantastic. I deinitely need to get back on the Westerns. Also I'm not sure I've seen anything with Dean Martin before, so curious to see what sort of an actor he is. Great stuff Roy!

Many thanks Warren and you've decided for me what Tuesday night's viewing shall be. I hope I didn't butcher his name too badly. Yes really do recommend Rio Bravo. It's an age old western trope but the cast has so much chemistry it's a joy to watch.

I think the film you got mixed up with SWAT is Two minute Warning with Charlton Heston a semi disater film, recently picked up from Amazon.
