Hi Ruchenda I really enjoy your budgeting adventures. A tip that might help - I use white vinegar to clean my home, as fabric conditioner and to de scale my kettle and iron. I also use it to clean through my washing machine and dishwasher. It’s cheaper than chips at 39p a bottle at my big Tesco. It’s also a natural product and saves using nasty chemicals around the home. I love your channel, you are so creative with food! Get so fed up watching budget cooking channels where they just cook with cheap horrible ingredients like spaghetti hoops . Hoping your channel goes from strength to strength and helps you achieve your goal of buying your own home x

Love my cats too like you do. I’d love a garden I live in a flat but it’s high rise so I’m above the houses and birds of prey regularly fly around and fly over the roof of the flats and other birds of course, my cats love watching them. I need to start going back to Lidl, online shopping is killing me financially

I found myself asking my daughter if i needed to put eggies on my shopping list and she looked at me like i had gone mad then i confused her even more when i told her i was off to the supermarche aka lidl px

Hi Gail generally I eat: Berries Double cream and Greek yoghurt Avocados and olives Cauliflower and broccoli Courgette, green beans and peas Any meat ideally unprocessed Any fish Cheese usually feta

@@BudgetFoodieUK you need to try the one with honey and one with coconut... i stocked up on those plus plain one today .... yogurt fruit and a sprinkle of berry granola also from lidl and a black coffee tricks my brain into thinking i am chilling out on my holidays . . Ideally i would relocate to spain to retire however for now i am manifesting it lol px

Yes u can cook up the entire ham and slice and freeze thats what i do i also glaze it with honey mustard and brown sugar and cloves makes a lovely change from plain and just elevates it px

@@BudgetFoodieUK give it a go lady R i think you will appreciate the flavours i sometimes cut mine in 2 if its a big ham and then you can do 2 flavours. I bought lovely mango and coconut chicken in tesco and had some last night it was lush ..... it was precooked so 1 pack would do twice. I think it was about 3.50 i got a bargain reduced to 1.75 and omg i am sooo excited about having it thrown in with my salad tonight. I might change it up and put it in a wrap maybe even heat it up . Admittedly i didnt check the packet for nasties but hey ho once wont hurt . I have plans to check what spices they use so i can recreate thats if one one the girls dont eat it for lunch although its well hid .... we have a huge amercian fridge freezer so we all have our own shelves to avoid any arguements penni has a huge Maltesers cheesecake in hers fortunately for her i am not a fan. Stupid question but is a leg of pork ‘ham’ or do I need to buy Gammon? X

@@BudgetFoodieUK not a stupid question i dont know why but my brain just assumed you were talking about ham thats the same as a gammon and thats what i always use . However now you have asked this question i swear i am sure i am gping mad but i think a leg of pork is different i think you shpuld goggle it to see and maybe get some recommendations as to how you should cook it i some times boil ham then glaze it and finish it off in the oven . If its a really big ham like at christmas my mother in law slices of some and frys them like big gammon slices or thick bacon . I normally guess cooking times so i cant even advise on this. Let me know what you find out you may do a bit of sleuthing nancy drew lol pxx

I think its basically the same but a gammon is the pork leg deboned ??? Again dont hold me to this px

Cut the pork & freeze what you don't need before cooking 😊

I dont know if this is a good thing or not but my shopping took me much longer todsy as i found myself checking the packaging for ingredients and nasties and then haunting down a few better alternatives i am blaming you lady R . Fortunately I eat mainly fresh fruit and veg and tend more often than not to make my own dressing fresh as and when i need them. I have tried to like avodcados and olives to no avail but might give them another try . Your spring onions r doing fabulously coriander and parsley very impressive. I need new bbq too how long i can put it off i dont know i really fancy the ninja one but not the price one from lidl sound more doable lol. Unless I talk nicely to ih invisible husband ... maybe i should give it a go whilst he is on a cocktail of pain relief for his bad leg the girls say its making him dozzy lol px

@@BudgetFoodieUK i would love to but if i want i may not get so i sneakily plant the idea in the gurls heads that they need a bbq and could stick a few burgers on and have there friends . Then if they like the idea they wil ask daddy for it and generally speaking if the girls want the girls get ...... does this make me a bad person or just a wise women ??????
