Congrats and good luck with the new job, Becky! I completely understand the Patrick Rothfuss disinterest. No one understands why the 3rd book is taking so long but the more time that passes the less anyone will care. Such a sad disservice to Patrick and his story!

The poor kitties...!! Amy and Ari had their shots about three weeks ago, and when they got home Justin immediately started snuggling them both. It sounds like they've forgiven you.

📗Licanius 2 hype! 🥳 I am chomping to get started but I decided to finish out “The Mad Ship’ before I start my February commitment reads - 3 or 4 of them 🫣 - and I soooooooo know what you mean about holding up thick chonkers. “The Mad Ship” is just over 900 pages - nine hundred, ohh emm gee 😱 - and I can definitely confirm I was struggling by the end to find a comfortable spot for 90+% of the chonk in the left hand, and a wee wedge in the right. Oww.

Fab blog, Becky!! 😃 I've just had a really enjoyable hour with my feet up listening to all your news. ☺️ How lucky are you to keep stumbling across the wheel of time books. Funny how things like that happen sometimes.☺️ I was really interested to hear your thoughts on The Shadow of What Was Lost. I have had this on my kindle for ages, wanting to read it but unfortunately I don't have the other two books of the trilogy yet. I tend not to start a series or trilogy until I have the complete set but after hearing your thoughts I'm tempted to read book one soon. Ummm, bit of a dilemma 🤔 I'm currently reading Philip Chases Edan trilogy. Just finished book one and I thought it was excellent. Might well be something you'd enjoy.☺️ So sorry to hear about your stressful visit to the vets with your kitties. I hope it wasn't too long before you were back in their good books, again. I'm sure deep down they understand these visits are for their own good. Your journals look so neat and professional. I enjoyed hearing about your journaling process. Not at all boring, so don't worry. Mine is just a note pad from The Works that I scribble a notes in when I've got a few mins. 😂 Good choice with the Easter egg. Twirls are up there on the favourite list. Hope you enjoyed tucking in to it. 😃🥰
