Weeki Wachee Snorkeling - Exploring in Crystal Clear Water

Weeki Wachee Springs are famous for the mermaid show. While the Weeki Wachee mermaids are impressive, the real attraction here for me is the snorkeling. The Weeki Wachee river flows with 150 million gallons of crystal clear water every day. In the springs and river several varieties of fish can be found along with turtles and birds as well. Snorkeling Floridas springs is an incredible experience. Come visit Weeki Wachee Springs State park sometime and check it out.

    Joe Oceanside I loved the northern Florida Mariana area. Cypress Springs & Merritt Mill Pond with Jackson Blue Cave are close to there. I heard the Chaz is really beautiful. Also have close friends who have done Ecofina. Chaz I think has several little underwater caves to swim through.

    Great video brother. I’m 72 years old and have a strong connection with you and the gorgeous natural springs of Florida. Immediately after graduating high school in 1968, I packed all my little earthly belongings into one suitcase ( with room to spare ) and headed straight to Florida with intentions of diving every single sight. Before that I needed to build a savings so I ended up working with a marine construction company out Tampa. Loved that summer job and was about to end up in Nassau Bahamas to erect the first large bridge to Paradise Island ( known as Pig Island back then ) but my dad forwarded my draft notification to me and I enlisted in the Coast Guard PDQ. Ended up in Kodiak Alaska, what a temperature difference! Ordered U.S. Divers SCUBA gear on our cutter and did cold water diving up there. Life’s so full of rich blessings and twist, God had many other plans for me. I loved your ending to this video….and that River Of Life is exactly what I am looking for today. Thanks for sharing your special springs adventures and letting an old man live vicariously through you. May God keep you safe in your endeavors. Larry Ray

    Which frame rate and resolution did you shoot most of the underwater shots?

  • @JoeOceanside

    @JoeOceanside

    4 жыл бұрын

    The underwater clips were mostly 2.7k 120fps. The fps allows me to slow down speed to 25% when I render the final video in 30fps. The 2.7k allows me to zoom in a bit without losing HD quality. Thanks for watching!
